Novel & Cerita Students Of The Year 2

She smiled and looked around before talking as if she were observing something. Then she began. "As we all know, the Academy Royal institution had picked our school as part of a competition to compete with other schools and note that we would honour their invitation by sending our best students to represent our school. But only senior students are eligible for it." The joy on the Junior students' faces was visible at least they would not have to worry about studying their asses out and they would focus on their fast-approaching examination. My head aches as I felt that I have no reason to be here. This is not my place and I will never be able to amount to the best student so I need to leave

Ansel replied, surprising Erica with an interesting revelation. "Did you study here?" Erica asked, clearly surprised. "Yes, I graduated more than three years ago. I studied economics." Ansel said. "I saw a picture of the top students from previous years. There was someone who looked a lot like you, but I wasn't sure at the time. I can't believe it was you." Erica said excitedly. "I took that picture about two years ago, during the 20th anniversary celebration of the school's founding." Erica nodded in understanding.

JAVIER SIX YEARS AGO It was officially the last day of school as a junior. After the summer break, I'll be a senior and right after college. I'm not really looking forward to that. College sounds like stress, more responsibilities, more annoying teachers and more school work. I groaned in annoyance as I walked through the crowded hallway to my locker. Most people were in a rush, trying to get out of school as soon as they could, as if the school administration would change their minds about letting us go early for the summer break. Others were clustered in groups giggling or catching up as if they had all the time in the world. Some people were looking for their friends, others were just loi

She quickly replied, before locking her phone again and pushing it into her pocket. "Miss Madden, before you go down, there's one more thing. This year, the professors as well as the dean will choose one student who has shown outstanding improvement as well showcasing incredible talent. And this year's prestigious award will go to none other than Miss Alessia Madden!" A loud applause can be heard.

The first award was for perfect attendance, which went to one of Lucy’s classmates. “The second award is for our student of the year. This year’s award goes to Lucy Owen. Congratulations, Lucy!” Everyone clapped as she went up to collect her certificate. She rejoined Ivy and me at her table, a huge smile on her face. After everyone filed out, she began cleaning up. Ivy and I offered to help, but she turned us away and said, “No, it’s fine. It’ll only take me a few minutes, and I’ll be right out.” We left the room and found a bench to sit on and wait for her. She came out about a half hour later.

It must really be as great news. “As always, we find each student at the UA an opportunity to be useful in the world they will step into and that is why we always encourage you to be diligently, at your best behaviours in school and study hard. This year just like the last, we will pick ten top students from the academy to represent the school in every way.” India raises her hand as soon as Mrs Loretta finishes speaking, “How will the students know this will happen based on merit?”

The Outstanding Student of the Year. Her name in the subject line. She'd known about the award. It was the same award she'd watched Julian receive in the third row of the auditorium in September, with a cake in her bag that she hadn't given him. It was the award that had been his name on it before the ceremony started, year after year, the thing that had seemed as fixed as gravity. She read the email again. Academic achievement, contributions beyond the classroom, and demonstrated courage in the face of institutional challenge.

, Sir Cornel said looking very pleased and proud of me and Benji. Later that night, Stella briefed me thoroughly about the selection process. Every two years, a selected group of students who have maintained an excellent academic performance would be transfered to the city school. The next batch was supposed to happen, next year which was at the end of my third term in Grade 6B.

The annual gathering to mark the beginning of term had always been the same: professors and students, even members of staff, crowded together under the pretence of civility. Officially, it was a sober occasion, an evening of polite conversation, introductions, and a toast to the year ahead. Unofficially, bottles hidden in satchels and refilled glasses ensured the wine flowed far more freely than the organisers would admit.
