The SilverLake Pack, I would like to introduce you to Ella Morrighan, my mate and your Luna.” Kane’s words ring out in the hall joined by cheers and howls. “Okay everyone enjoy the festivities. We will all meet in the clearing behind the pack house at midnight.” Kane is ready to go. But it would be rude to just leave.

“Pair shift—now.” A Lycan named Borr pivots, shoulders rolling as he drops into partial shift, claws extending. One of ours, Linae, mirrors him without hesitation, ducking under his reach and sweeping his legs. He hits the ground with a grunt and a laugh. “Better,” I say. “You two—stay together.”

My eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Very funny Emilio" I slurred out annoyed. His wolf snickered and he shifted. Before me stood a God sculpted naked man. My face flushed red as I tried to look every where but him. "Aw Staz your face was priceless." He giggled pulling on some sweats. "Come on baby don't be so uptight, just submit to me." he stated dryly. I refused and he knew I refused to submit. He stepped closer when I didn't answer him causing me to back up to a tree as he kept advancing on me.

Aera had suffered much worse. Nobara was standing by her locker, chewing gum. She told me her biggest secret. She lost her virginity at 13 to her cousin. It cannot shoot its poison like Gabagabahebi or Rappahebi, but its venom is more poisonous than them. But…” Rina hesitated. “Kurokihebi isn’t that big. It’s only as big as umm, me, I mean, its length is as wide as my shoulder.” Rina emphasized the size while patting her own shoulders.

KINZA: (voice trembling) Sukoon. Without hesitation, Kinza steps closer, her arms outstretched. Sukoon's eyes widen in surprise, and before she can react, Kinza envelops her in a heartfelt embrace. I explain. “I don’t like it. It’s dangerous for her if she is some wolf out of a legend. I don’t like her being our Luna, either, but it is safer than the thought of her being the Mythic wolf,” Noah grumbles, running his fingers through his already disheveled brunette locs.

Bruce snapped, voice slicing the air. "You're the shameless one—stealing my Luna!" He actually pulled out a crumpled photo from our mating ceremony, holding it up like proof in court. "Look! She's mine. My mate!" The crowd buzzed. Whispers flew like wildfire. They'd heard stories about Bruce, but now all eyes were on me—confused, searching. I stared at the photo. Nothing. No flicker of recognition. Wolvent's smile turned lethal. "Your Luna? Did you even mark her?"
