Seth's lying on the floor tossing a ball in the air and making random comments that are either really smart or completely stupid. This is the first time since we got here that I can actually breathe. "So these three packs hate each other but they hate outsiders more?" I ask Zane. "Pretty much," Zane confirms, showing me a map on his tablet. "It's like high school with more murder," Seth adds from the floor. Hunter snorts. "That's actually accurate." I lean back in my chair and Hunter's eyes follow the movement. He's been doing that all morning. Watching me like I might disappear.

Sky: “Dad says we might be here for a week. Kill me now.” Charlie stared at the message, wanting to write paragraphs back but settling for: “Hang in there.
