Honestly, I zone out a bit during that one. It's a lot of talking at the drive-in. Ponyboy and Cherry yapping, Dally being a creep, then the Socs roll up. The main thing is Cherry explaining that the Socs have problems too, which is like, the central theme of the whole book, right? 'Things are rough all over.' The audiobook narrator does a decent job, I guess, but it's not a very action-heavy chapter. It's more about setting up the conflict and the idea that these groups aren't so different. If you're listening while doing chores, you might miss some of the quieter emotional beats. The rumble at the end is the most engaging part audio-wise.
