Pov: Caleb “Bye caleb! I am really going to miss you. I’ll come visit you as soon as I can.” Brianna said as she hugged me. Her hold on me was so tight, I felt like I was being suffocated. I could not believe that the summer was already over. It had gone by so fast. I had thoroughly enjoyed myself. The guys and I took full advantage of the summer sun. We swam nearly every day, we had gone on short road trips to places like the Grand Canyon, we partied harder than we ever had. I grew a lot closer to some of my team members.

The summer camp was bustling with activity. Kids of different ages moved up and down, getting their luggage and doing stuff, while Taylor stood alone in the corner, the handle of her luggage firmly gripped in her hands as she surveyed her surroundings. There was not a single familiar face there, although she was sure that her former best friend was somewhere in the camp. The sudden urge to cry and go meet someone in charge to tell them that she wanted to go back home came over her, but she resisted the urge. She was a big girl, after all, and she was going to make a lot of friends here. Raising her head, she joined the throng of milling kids and set about doing what she had to do.

Lusie fall in thinking of fear. In a summer camp just outside that town, people were having fun. Some were playing volleyball, some were swimming, some were gossiping with friends or family members standing or sitting on benches. Children were moving here and there. All were in fancy dresses. Deisy with her friends Zen and others were having some food sitting surrounding a table. They were talking loudly and laughing and poking each other.

When a father was absent for too long, even his expressions of care and concern would have to wait at the back of the line. Alfred would send all sorts of gifts before holidays, and Bella would always reply, "Thank you, Daddy." Sometimes, she would share a sentence or two about her school. Paula visited us in Harlock several times. The first time she arrived, Bella was downstairs learning to ride a bike. The moment she saw Paula, she slammed on the brakes and sprinted forward to throw her arms around Paula. Paula traced the faded scar on her forehead as tears slid down the corners of her eyes.

The campfire had burned low, leaving behind only glowing embers and the soft chorus of crickets in the woods and smoke lingered in the cool night air, clinging to my body. I was fully drunk, fuzzy, and reckless in the way only cheap vodka and summer nights could make you feel. This was my second summer at Camp Pine Ridge, so i already knew how these late-night counselor parties usually went. Someone always flirted too hard, someone disappeared into the woods, and somebody made a decision they’d probably regret, and tonight I felt bold, carefree, and very horny.
