Chapter 4

Inspector Isaac’s POV:

Me and my junior John were at the accident spot. We were trying to find out the reason of the accident. Was trying to imagine the situation according to the driver. I looked at the traffic light that seemed ok to me. “Think that the driver was telling the truth, then what are the take away message from the accident?” I asked John. He was hesitating and then told that if the situation was really same as the driver described then the accident was preplanned. That was what I was thinking exactly. But who is all behind that and what was the motive? “Get the best electrician and check the traffic light again. See you at office”, saying that I started to go away fast. “Where are you going, sir?” john asked me. In reply I told him that I was going to meet the injured man in the hospital.

Hold on, hold on… Mack shouted while Ron, Jerry and he were cycling to their house after school. After tomorrow our summer vacation would start. “Yeah, I can remember that. Do you still connected to that plan still?” asked Jerry. All stopped cycling. “I shall be with you”, Ron said to them. Mack and Jerry asked at the same time “What about your tour plan?”. “It has been canceled”, replied Ron. As soon as they heard that from Ron, they called out that it was good to hear that. “What!”, Ron astonished. “I mean we shall be all together in this summer vacation. We can have a good time”, saying this Jerry controlled the situation. “Let’s go, we are doing late”, said Mack. Then they went away with their cycle.

I reached to the hospital and went to the cabin where the victim driver was taking rest. “Hello, how are you feeling now”, I asked the driver. He replied that he was fine then. That time I urged him that if we could have a talk about the accident. He felt pain and replied in the affirmative. Then he started talking “I was coming from my working place. Suddenly, I heard a wild sound. It was really loud. Then, hearing the sound I got frightened and started to drive a bit faster. I saw the traffic light was green. So, I continued. All of a sudden, the car came to the middle of the road. It was too late for me to avoid the accident”. “Are you sure the light was green”, I asked him and was thinking about the car driver who insisted that the traffic light was not ok. He replied in the affirmative and said “yeah, I can remember that clearly. The light was green.” I shook my head and said “I see”. Then I left the hospital.

Deisy, Zen, Belley and Braden were in a restaurant. They were enjoying some food and were talking about how they will enjoy the upcoming summer vacation. Zen spoke out saying that they could visit “long tree park”. He also added “There we can stay few days using some tent”. Belley replied with joy that that would be great fun together. “Yeah, I agree with you. I mean we can enjoy the natural beauty and the fresh air”, said Braden. Deisy was hesitating and started saying “yah…, you are right but… ”. Suddenly Belley toke word from Deisy and started saying “No excuse, honey. You have to manage. It will be real fun.”

I was in a super market there I met with Mickle. “Hello friend, how are you doing?”, I asked him. “Hey, hey, hey, I am doing good. How are you?”, he happily said that and hugged me. Then I replied that I was passing busy time. “That matches with your personality from our school period”, he poked me. I agreed with him in smiling. Addressing him as engineer, I also asked him that how he was doing. “Yah, doing good. In the begging I found export manager, it was quite exciting. Now a days too much pressure. Even I cannot manage enough time for my family”, he replied me. Hearing him I said “None can understand this situation better than me”. He replied in the affirmative and said to me that he knew. I took some medicine and came out from the super market, talking with him.

Daniel entered home with a briefcase in his hand and shouted “Helloooo… I am home”. Entering in his room, he threw the briefcase on his bed and walked to the kitchen. There Dina took out a juice bottle from the fridge and pure a glass with the juice. Then she handed over the glass to Daniel and said “Hi, baby. How was office today”. He took the glass and thanked her and replied that the day was okey and asked “where is Mack?” “He is in his room. Probably, doing homework.” He shook his head and said “yah”.

I entered into Lusie’s grocery store and told her “Hello”. She welcomed me saying hi. She also politely told him that if she might be of help. “Umm, yes. I know it is your closing time. I won’t take much time from you. Yap, actually, I want to talk to Jerry about that incident happened with him and it is important. So, if it is possible...”, I said to her. “Is everything ok, inspector?” she asked me. I replied that everything was going fine. Just out of some formality I needed to talk to him. I also informed her that “I shall be in your house in the afternoon. See you. Bye.”, saying these I left her grocery store and she started to get ready for closing the store.

Mack, Jerry and Ron were talking from their own rooms using walkie talkie. 

Jerry: Ron, could you tell us why your plan has been changed for the vacation?

Ron:  My father has to go abroad for some official client meeting. And I am truly happy, hearing that since we would be together this summer.

Mack: You are right Ron. So, since we all agree to discover the lake, we should have a plan like when, how…

Jerry: Yes. I have a plan. But I want you guys also think about it and tomorrow we shall discuss about fixing the plan and get started.

Ron: That’s great.

That time someone knocked at Jerry’s door and he replied coming mom.

Jerry: Ok, then talk to you tomorrow. Bye.

Ron: Bye.
