After hanging up, Ethan stared at the empty entrance of the detention center as panic spread through him. Vivian had lived in Stormbay for five years. Besides him and the people he arranged to watch her, she barely interacted with anyone. For his sake, she had cut ties with her family across the ocean and severed every connection she had there.
