Summer nodded vigorously before ambling towards the office. She breathed a sigh of relief once she was inside the building. Dabbing her forehead with a handkerchief, she hurried towards her cubicle. “You look like you ran a marathon,” Hannah commented as Summer powered on the computer. She takes a huge gulp from her water bottle which Barbara had stuffed inside her bag and looked at her friend. Well, Hannah claimed they were friends. Summer wouldn’t know. She had never been privileged enough to have friends. “I...thought I was late,” she replied slowly, steadily. Hannah nodded before turning back to her work.

After Summer had left for England, She arrived the university and was assisted to her dorm room. She shared a room with a New Yorker named Octavia. They were in the same faculty and in turn became friends. Leo, William, Drake and Stephanie also left for college. During the Holidays they would all return home. Summer didn’t associate with them much because she was beyond busy, any little opportunity she gets she put it into her business.
