Xavion explained, “There is a monster who resides in this space. Like you, he wants to become a God by collecting the five magical books. He goes by the name Ulricus Mammet. He also wants the world to become tumultuous for the final book to he born. “A sorcerer who worked for him created these blood moths. This sorcerer is skilled at divination, and he has predicted that you’d show up bearing four magic books. Ulricus will take those books from you once the fifth book appears, so he may use them to help him become a God.” “Xavion, this Ulricus Mammet guy that you mentioned… Is that his genuine name or simply a title?” Tyr asked with a frown. “Why do you ask?” Xavion was a little puzzled.

"Charmy, I need your help. Check these books for me and look for any information regarding the sorceress named Delicia or a sorceress that made their name in Apothecary class, 20 years ago." After giving her instruction, Audrey placed another pile of books in front of Cha rmy. Just like before, another cloud of dust raised from the cover of the books as soon as it landed on the table. Charmy tried her best to flap her cute tiny wings to fan the dust away from her. "You're joking right???? Do you honestly expect me to read books??!!!" The baby snow dragon asked in her usual brat-like tone. "Yes, you heard me right. And don't think about slacking because we still have a lot of books to check.

According to my father, these books were a gift from the Supreme Being to his grandchildren. In the pavilion of the Evermore temple, there is a gigantic and magical library, called "The Library of Destiny". That library contains thousands of books. These books are known as "Books of Destiny", since each Immortal that is born, a book lights up and omnisciently connects itself to this child's life thread. We study the reality of our destiny book since we're kids, we study about every single thing. The world, the races, the cultures, the kingdoms, the history of each place, the geography, and the science.

"I knew you could do it." The beast stared at me from across the room, an expectant gaze that chilled the fiery burn in my veins. I was a Summoner, I had control over the beast now, but I knew that every time I called it forth from the depths of whatever prison my pendent held, I would remember the girl I failed to save.

He mindlinked him, and he nodded, sniffing. "What the fuck is going on here?" A familiar voice asked behind them, making Hashmuk let go of Rasmore. The person standing behind them was the person he was crying for, thinking he had left him. It was Kelvin, with a pile of magic books in his hands. He and his friends smelled like they were coming from the sewer.

She ran her fingers along the spines, the gold lettering cool against her skin. Drawn in by the sheer volume, she hesitantly pulled a book from the shelf, a slim volume bound in dark blue leather. The title was etched in silver: The Royal Grimoire of Sacred Oaths. She opened it, her eyes skimming the ornate calligraphy, the intricate diagrams filled with arcane symbols.

How I yearned for the good old days when I hopped about the bookshop, checking for story books and picking the ones with the most colorful and captivating covers and titles. It was so much fun and It was definitely in my plans for my future kids when I had my own family. I read books to escape reality, to keep myself busy, to keep my mind off overthinking, and to improve my vocabulary and speech. I flipped my fingers over the books, deliberating on which would be my read for the weekend. I had all seven books in the Harry Potter series and I had read only three. With the aid of my thumb and my index fingers, I picked out the book, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.’

The dorm room was dark except for the circle of candles flickering on the floor. Elias Crowe knelt in the center of the carefully drawn summoning circle, heart hammering so hard he could feel it in his throat. The small off campus apartment smelled of old books, incense, and nervous sweat. Textbooks on demonology and forbidden occult rituals lay open around him, pages filled with notes scribbled in the margins, highlighted warnings he had mostly ignored. He had been studying the occult for months in secret. Tonight, he was finally attempting his first real summoning.
