The mark was different than what I was used to. Usually when non-fated mates mark themselves, it heals into a regular bite mark but mine was red, like a fresh wound. The shape was still a bite mark but it also looked like a crescent moon. The mark on my neck was a blood crescent and it screamed of Soren’s elemental color.
