There was a brief silence before Sunny said in a high-pitched voice, "Xante! Thank god you finally answered the phone! I was worried sick about you." "What's there to worry about me?" asked Xante in an annoyed tone. Sunny did not know how to answer her, so he scoffed haughtily and said, "I don't know, but just know that I worry about you whenever I can't contact you." Xante could not stand him anymore. "Sunny Rivera, I was fine before you came along, and I'm going to be fine whether you're in my life or not! Stop harassing my friend 'cause there's really nothing to worry about. Understood?!"

The large lonely mansion which oozed nothing but affluence did not only house these money making halls but also had rooms above which caged workers who made this money and the bosses who ruled over them. The workers were members of X-habit, a crime conglomerate whose activities were no lesser than running guns, doing drugs and the like. Probably the effect of the drug,” Sunny says as she comes back down the stairs. “What happened to her?” Vicente asks again, her curiosity sharper now. “It’s nothing serious,” Sunny answers quickly. “Our car just ran into a ditch.” “Oh…” Vicente nods, though something in her expression says she doesn’t fully believe it. “That’s bad.” “Yeah,” I murmur, setting the table. “Pretty bad.” The silence stretches again for a while as I feed Cleo while Sunny settles for a glass of juice before the telephone rings.
