Tears sting the back of my eyes, “Not even once?”
“Oh Tiara, if I had to go back, I’ll do it again and I wouldn’t change a single thing,” his eyes drift briefly to the sea, “It’s time.”
It takes me a second to realize he is referring to the sunset and I sit back, mesmerized, as the deep golden sphere meets the sea. It never stops to astound me, how beautiful the sunset is, like burning ember slowly dipping into the ocean’s waves.
We never speak during these critical moments so grabbing my camera I rush to capture the fleeting fragment, freezing the breathtaking beauty in astounding clicks, with the sounds of the waves gently lapping at the shore, providing a soothing serenade.
