I whined, my teeth chattering. "You are the strongest werewolf in the history of the Blood Moon Pack. You are a rare hybrid. My name is Zoe. Your Dragon-Vampire beast from the Moon goddess. We can kill Dracula the Demon King and his whole demons, but I'm caged at the moment!" I heard the voice again. It sounded hopeless. "Get off that cage, then let's destroy that devil!" I yelled but heard no voice again. "Zoe! Zoe!" I screamed at the top of my voice, but there was nothing but dead silence.

I walked closer to the zombie, studying it carefully. Seeing the delicious meal less than half a meter away, the zombie clawed at the fence even more violently, its long nails scraping flakes of metal from the bars. I activated my superpower, and a few Water Blades materialized in my hand. I attempted to strike the zombie’s eyes. The small splashes of water were about as effective as eye drops; the zombie didn’t even blink. My face fell, and I looked utterly frustrated. Kevin Keane had been watching me from the side, and a flicker of amusement crossed his eyes at the sight.

“Zoey, you really should mind your tongue. I may just accidentally cut your tongue out of your mouth.” I was impressed by the sheer power that emanated from our luna! She was indeed powerful, and it wasn’t until this moment that I believed the rumors that she is worthy of being the queen of supernatruals! I instinctively bowed my neck in submission, as did everyone else apart from Zoey, she was cowering while trying to be defiant. It wasn’t long before she fell to her knees under the pressure of Luna Rae’s aura.

I could feel her wolf more than normal. Then I heard a crack, like thunder slamming into earth and light exploded in the sky just ahead, like lightning made of magic. Hannah and I ran the last stretch and when we broke through the trees I stopped breathing, my breath got caught in my throat. There she was. Zoey stood at the center of a shattered dome, her body glowing with power, glowing. Not just her, but her entire body shimmered like something sacred, and like something divine. She was floating slightly above the ground, her arms at her sides. Her hair whipped around her face like it was caught in a storm and her eyes shone like the stars.

Katherine, no, Zoey stood tall in the center, unflinching, and behind her… thousands of armed soldiers in sleek black gear, all positioned like a private militia straight out of hell. She asked. Before she could think of the rest, darkness blinded her. I heard him cursed right away as he threw a death glare towards me. "What's happening here?" I froze in my spot when I heard a familiar voice approaching us. "Weakling?" I asked with a frown. He glared and motioned me to shut up. "Froze..." That Supreme Stupid Council mumbled. "Beau..." That weakling guy answered back. So Froze is his name, huh? He glanced at me with his ocean-blue eyes before looking back at Beau. I don't know, but I somehow feel safe. "It's none of your business. We're talking." Beau said irritatedly. My mouth hangs open. This man!

The trance in her mind was broken when she heard him introduce her. "Guys, this is Catherine, our new little fish," said Miguel, who soon moved away from her as Diego approached to shake hands with the newcomer. "Welcome to the shark tank, dear. I'm Diego, your teammate along with Rogerio, that unfriendly guy back there," he said, pointing to the friend who was approaching. "I just didn't run to introduce myself," Rogerio nodded his head to the side as a way of greeting her. "Welcome to the shark tank. I'm Rogerio, as the speedy one over there has already presented."

“You need to try to heal the All-mighty mother. Waving my hands in a circular motion, I pick them both up, moving them behind me where Nova, Jaja, and Sofia stand with my off springs in their arms. “My Queen?” Jaja mutters with a sly smirk curling on the corner of his mouth as he stands in front of Sofia, protecting the females and offspring behind him.
