I chuckled, toying with the tip of the knife and picking it up again to keep chopping the veggies. “Do you sleep in coffins?” the question left my mouth before I could stop myself. “What has these books been telling you?” I heard his footsteps behind me. My breath hitched for a second because I thought he was coming up behind me but he surprised me by going over to the other side of the counter, dropping his elbows on it. He looked genuinely curious. “A lot of things actually.” I responded. “I mean, some of them sound really far-fetched but others don't. You have heightened senses, super strength and speed, you love to stay out of sight and you don't eat.” I added.

, I say then asks, “If you could have a superpower what would it be?” “Invisibility. What superpowers would you want?”, he answers then asks. “Super speed!”, I answer excitedly. “What is your favorite tv show?”, I ask. “The Big Bang Theory. What’s yours?”, he asks. “Lucifer; favorite movie?”, I ask. “Black Panther. What’s yours?”, he asks. “Creed; Favorite kid show?”, I ask. “Lilo and Stitch!”, he answers without hesitation. “Your’s?”

he suggested. I nodded my head with a firm yes. I closed my eyes and concentrated on my breathing and tried to battle this newfound power which is like a curse to me. At least Bruce is kind of lucky. He only has one power, which he got that day I found him at the lake. Whereas I got nine over the years, unfortunately, this one would make it ten. A shiver ran through me as the glowing light hovered unsteadily around me. I fought to gain control..I felt the power intensify as it exploded out of me. The water in the lake rippled as the wind blew heavily as if there was a storm.

So I held it out as well and then he moved closer to the bed and reach for my hand, Then he intertwined our fingers, and I do not know what just happened, I do not understand, his hand was so warm and as if volts of electricity had ran through me, reaching my heart and electrifying it, causing it to be squeezed and beat faster. There was a foreign shiver in my spine and something felt different inside me. Does the Alpha have super powers? “Y-you have super powers? Electricity. You can make and transfer electricity?!” I exclaimed in amazement, and excitement that I had guessed his super ability!

If she loses consciousness here, it's as good as dying. So, she put her ear to the ground and listened to sounds outside. At first, it seemed like the world was drenched in utter silence. Slowly, she started hearing things. Sounds of pitter patter, as if a mouse is moving. Sound of squeaks, as water moved through pipes. Then, the sound of something heavy sliding across the floor, as if it doesn't know how to walk. It's a supreme power zombie. Supreme power zombies are usually strong muscular males... They are bulked up ten times, slowed down ten times. Thus, like rock giants, their defense is good , their offence is better yet.

He pulled, and the group of men all tumbled forward. Xavier was stronger than all of them combined. "This seems unusual," Owen said as he stood up. "I've never heard of a vampire this strong," Liam said. "Did you even break a sweat, Zay?" Thea said. "No," Xavier said. "Without other vampires to compare him to, we don't know if this is normal," Thea said. "We would have heard stories if this were the norm," Alaric said. "I think he's superpowered because you’re feeding him your magic and blood."

"Mom said, we can only use our superpower in the evening." She scolded which alerted the attention of Braelyn who was just coming out of her room, dressed in her work outfit.

Damien tilted his head, eyes glowing with that strange red light that looked like the devil’s. “Low?” he repeated, admiring the black veins crawling along his arm. His claws glistened like obsidian. “I call it evolution.” I pushed myself to my feet. “You and I both know that it is called foolishness,” I said flatly. “You knew you couldn’t beat me, so you borrowed power that doesn’t belong to you.” He chuckled, flexing his new claws. “You should be thanking me, Kai. You’ve always wanted a competition, right?”
