Surrogate Novels & Stories

Seline When he doesn’t answer, my brows rise as realization dawns on me. “You don’t trust them.” “Marsha wasn’t stupid,” Austin says abruptly. “She could be foolish at times, but not so much as to follow a stranger, especially you, deep into the forest and out of our territory.” I wince, trying to swallow the hurt. “You must have really liked her. But then I heard she was a popular candidate to be your mate. Sorry for your loss.”

They’d found the perfect surrogate. Apparently there was a complication. “Well?” I said. “The surrogate is… reluctant to agree to those terms.” My eyes narrowed. The doctor swallowed hard enough to make his tie twitch. “What do you mean reluctant?” “She would prefer to remain in her own home during the pregnancy,” he said. “Living with you is not something she is comfortable with.” I didn’t see the problem. “Then find someone else.” He shifted in his chair. “She is the best candidate we have for carrying a healthy lupine pregnancy to term,” he said carefully. “Perhaps if you spoke with her directly, you might be able to negotiat

he says, “you were a line item. A surrogate. A contract. An asset in a gilded cage, with cameras counting your steps and an Argus system that read you as property. I built every wall of it.” He lifts a tablet from beside his knee and turns it so I can see the document open on it. The Morton crest. My name. And beneath it, where the surrogacy agreement used to be, something else. “I have ended that truth. The agreement is void. Not breached, not transferred. Void. Struck from every server in the seconds before they burned.” His eyes hold mine. “In its place you are entered into the Morton system as a Sovereign-class strategic asset, with executive authority ove

SECONDARY SURROGATE (HELEN VANCE): DELIVERED TWIN B (KEMI BENSON & DEBORAH VANCE). TERTIARY SURROGATE (UNKNOWN): DELIVERED SET. My chest felt like it locked up. The floor, beneath my feet felt like it dropped into an abyss. "I do not understand... What is a tertiary surrogate?" I said, my voice was really quiet because the engines on the plane were so loud. "Deborah what does tertiary surrogate mean?" Deborah looked up from the screen. Her eyes were wide with fear. It was a scary look that made everyone in the back of the plane stop talking.

"Let her build. The papers are legitimate." "The papers are legitimate but the situation isn't clean and she knows it." Her voice dropped slightly, the lawyer edge softening just enough that I could hear the person underneath. "There was never a formal surrogacy agreement. Claire asked me as a friend. If Vanessa's legal team argues that the arrangement was informal and therefore contestable, a sympathetic judge could at least grant her standing to challenge." "She has no standing." "She has grief and money and a sister who died before her child was born. Judges are human, Elias."

Mateo was still rambling on beside Maeve, saying all sorts of things about the two families who were constantly forcing them to have a baby. “There's no need to listen to what they say, didn't we already fulfill their wishes and getting married?” Maeve spoke in a slightly high tone, she was annoyed that Mateo kept harping on her about it. “Hey, it's not like that. I have a better idea.” “Idea?” Mateo nodded. "If your percentage is pretty much zero, what if we use a surrogate?" Maeve gave the man a suspicious look, Mateo understood why his wife thought this was so strange.

The thought of giving them that, of being that for them, sent a shiver through her. “Yes, sir,” she whispered. “I’ll do that for you.” Cade smiled, pleased. “I knew you wouldn’t let us down.” A pause, his gaze darkening. “We’re going to help you prepare for that,” he said. “We’ll get you used to being touched, so you won’t be sore when it matters. We intend to make you the perfect ‘surrogate’.” Her breath caught again, heat spiraling through her. The ache only sharpened.

Before Adrian could speak, she held out her hands and said angrily. “Get your trash off my hands, and I'm out of your house. If you think I'm going to use the baby to get your attention, then rest assured, I won't.” “What if I don't agree?” Adrian asked angrily, his eyes bloodshot. “It's my fucking sperm that's growing inside you!” he growled. "Well, sorry to burst your bubbles; it's not your fucking sperm; you are not the only man in my life. I have many available sperm donors.” Anna yelled, and Adrian smirked menacingly, towering over her and saying.

"I've reviewed your preliminary application, very impressive credentials." Elena perched on the edge of the white leather chair. "Thank you. But I have to admit, I don't know much about surrogacy. This is all new to me." "Of course, let me explain our process." Dr. Chen opened a leather folder. "Our client is seeking a gestational surrogate that means you would carry an embryo created through IVF using his sperm and a donor egg, the child would have no genetic connection to you." Elena nodded, though the clinical language made her stomach flutter.

And somewhere between race four and race seven, I discovered an inconvenient truth. Kyra was alarmingly good. By the end of the first thirty minutes, she had developed a deeply concerning habit of targeting me specifically. Every shell somehow found its way to my kart. Every banana peel appeared directly in my path. Every opportunity I had to secure first place vanished under circumstances I considered highly suspicious. “What the hell was that?” I demanded as another green shell sent me spinning into a wall. Kyra nearly fell off the couch laughing. “It’s called strategy.” “It’s called harassment.”
