THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

He greeted the executive security detail like he’d just walked back home, hands raised in a calm, commanding gesture that instantly quieted the crowd. "He's calling an emergency board meeting for four o'clock," Marcus said, his teeth clenching so hard his jaw went white. "In thirty minutes, Arthur will use the federal indictment to strip Christian of his CEO title. Once he takes the chair, he’ll cancel the security protecting this floor. He gets the legal right to audit everything—including Leo’s post-op ICU funding." A cold wave of dread knocked the wind out of me. My fingers squeezed the flash drive in my pocket. Christian hadn’t just handed me an admin signature; he gave me a loaded weapo

Pregnant by my Ex-Boyfriend’s Father

Pregnant by my Ex-Boyfriend’s Father

Doomscrolling X didn’t last long before sleep claimed me. Next morning, famished, I whipped up an English breakfast and headed to work. A message on my pager: the CEO wants to see me. I knocked, entered, greeted him… nothing. Cold silence. I thought we were past this stage of no reply to my greetings. “So, how do you plan to carry out your plan?” His tone flat, indifferent. I explained the step-by-step: double-check the contract numbers, send an internal confirmation memo, follow up with partners personally, and maintain a tracker for every clause revision.

The Phoenix Bride Rises: Trust Was Her First Mistake

The Phoenix Bride Rises: Trust Was Her First Mistake

One keystroke at a time. At dawn, a rumor surged through the Eastern financial markets. "Midas is back." Funds froze their trades. CEOs called emergency meetings. Panic rippled… not from what she had done, but from what she might do next. No one knew her face or gender. But everyone remembered the person who once collapsed a multinational in 72 hours, without ever stepping foot in a boardroom. They thought Midas was a myth. But she was real. And this time? She had nothing to lose.

Coffee, Chaos and the Ceo

Coffee, Chaos and the Ceo

Right then and there, Adrian cracked a smile as he realized that Evelina was playing along. "Good morning, my love..." he paused before looking around at everyone in the boardroom. "Good morning, everyone. I see that my lovely fiancée has been keeping you all company," he said in a cheerful tone. "Yes, she indeed has," an older man said as he stood up. Adrian immediately recognized him. He could never forget the man because he was the CEO whose company was supposed to merge with his own. "I apologize for coming to your office on such short notice," the older man continued. "But we heard about that ghastly fight you had last night."

The Billionaire's Playdate

The Billionaire's Playdate

Matienzo Madrigal turned to him like an idiot and didn't seem to know what to do. “Your company is now slowly drowning Matienzo. When this news broke I was afraid of the eventual downfall of the Madrigals. People can think of this as a crime and the CEO of the company cheating on his wife and bringing his child to the mistress after Ruella got buried is not very good news for everyone. ” Keegan's speech to Matienzo was high -pitched. “You think I haven't thought of that yet? That’s why I called you here. I want you to fix the issue and offer them whatever they want just to leave us. ”

Derek was in a moment of rage while every other person was in bewilderment. They might think I’m crazy and truly, I am. I’m Lucas Anderson, the one crazy hell of a man. Author's Note: Daddy Lucas is a big deal to me! If you're interested in reading about Sebastian, Henry, and Derek's story, here's the list. Sebastian Drew: The CEO's Secret Henry Salvatore: The CEO's Seduction Derek Miller: The CEO's unwanted bride (We can also call it the conquer of the King of Playboys: it's my favorite book after this one)

Let Me In

Let Me In

After getting dressed, we wake up Miah and let the babysitter in. Leaving for work, we listen to the radio in the car and when we arrive, I walk her to her office. Noticing Mr. Lawrence watching, I take her in my arms and bend her over backwards kissing her passionately. He smiles as I walk by and waves. Walking into my office, I hear Jake calling my name. Backing up, I reroute and go in his office. "What's this?" He shows me the front page of the Chronicle and low and behold there is a picture of Jaiden nude, sitting on my lap. In big letters it says, CEO of Remedy Enterprises caught messing around on his fiance.

The CEO's Dirty Little Secret

The CEO's Dirty Little Secret

That was why she would never tell her mother about Roman and how she had dropped out for a year. “Is that Eve?” Her smile grew as she walked into the master bedroom and saw her father freshly showered and in his pyjamas. He was already under the covers and the television was on on the wall, so he could watch his stories. Beside him, his table held his nightly mug of Horlicks and some snacks, while the chest of drawers beside that was full of all his pain management medication. “Hi, Dad,” she smiled as she walked around the bed to his side.

Good read with no unexpected twists. Has good storyline flow about a emotionally stunted ML learning to grow up. Very lightly glosses over the steamy parts and hints at bdsm but totally no details so suitable read for readers who are uncomfortable with smut. The ending with too abrupt though

This is a very good book. It covered relationships from a different perspective. It also covered how people struggle financially and are supportive of their spouse who isn’t physically healthy. I really wished there was at least another chapter. The end seems a bit rushed - more could be added.

Mr. Huntington's Secret

Mr. Huntington's Secret

Or who could be the one snitch on it? I stood up and faced him. Sir Sebastian gave me a side glance and a curled smile. It was as if he found me amusing to think that I was making it a big deal. Of course, it's a big deal! That said was engraved in my heart and I was still holding on to become a CEO someday. I just need to save more and I will execute building my empire. "You're an interesting one, Cejay. You have my full attention with your persona." Uh... Thanks? Should I even say that? Is it a good thing that he was praising me? He was praising how I lashed out at him? Did I even lash out?

I'm The CEO's Bedmate [ENGLISH]

I'm The CEO's Bedmate [ENGLISH]

Nicole rolled her eyes at herself for overthinking, especially now that the CEO was standing right in front of her, already glaring at her. “You’re finally awake,” he said, his brow furrowed. Nicole nodded shyly, too embarrassed to respond with something sarcastic like, "Obviously." “I-I'm sorry, I fell asleep,” she said softly, lowering her head. Quickly, she got out of bed, straightened the pillow and blanket she had used, and dusted them off as if that would make up for her earlier mistake. “That’s fine. We have nothing to do anyway. And you did say earlier during dinner that you weren’t feeling well. Are you feeling better now?”

Frequently Asked Questions

I stumbled upon 'The CEO Midnight Remedy' while browsing for something fresh in the romance genre, and boy, did it deliver! The story follows Lin Yao, a brilliant but overworked CEO who’s haunted by insomnia and a past tragedy. Enter Zhou Xia, a quirky herbalist with a secret family recipe for a 'midnight remedy' that promises deep sleep. Their worlds collide when Lin Yao seeks her out, and what starts as a transactional relationship slowly unravels into something deeper. Zhou Xia’s warmth and unorthodox methods crack his icy exterior, while he helps her confront her own fears about carrying her family’s legacy. The tension between modernity (his corporate ruthlessness) and tradition (her herbal wisdom) is chef’s kiss.

What hooked me wasn’t just the romance—it’s how the story weaves in themes like burnout culture and the clash between old-world remedies and quick-fix pharmaceuticals. There’s a scene where Zhou Xia drags Lin Yao to a midnight market to 'taste real life' instead of swallowing pills, and it’s pure magic. The side characters, like Lin Yao’s sarcastic PA and Zhou Xia’s granny (who low-key ships them), add layers without stealing the spotlight. By the end, you’re rooting for them to merge their worlds—maybe with a boutique wellness chain that doesn’t exploit workers? A girl can dream.
