Didi asked me how that happened. But I lied to her saying I accidentally fell on glass shards. She somehow believed me and was forcing me to have painkillers. But I have a problem with taking medicines, I don’t know how to swallow them and also whenever I try to swallow, because of the bitter taste I always puke. So, I always say no to medicines. I can bear any type of physical pain but I can't bear the bitter taste of medicine. I am not afraid of injections but hell I am very afraid of medicines.

He asked very angrily and that's when I returned from my la-la land. I replied with a tight smile," I will be back with your coffee, SSSiiirrr." I pronounced the word Sir very sarcastically and started going towards the door to leave this room. I am feeling suffocated seeing his face. Before I could leave the room he said," 1 cube of sugar. I hope you remember. After all, once you liked to make coffee in that way." I turned my head and replied letting out a mocking smile," I don't forget so easily. Either it's about love or humiliation."

His hand brought the sheet upto my neck while his eyes stared at mine . " There is no need to work today , I have arranged food for you , You can order more with the work phone in my office . Number is written beside it " I nodded . " If anything happened call the last number on the diary next to the phone , understood ?" I nod once . " Take care , we'll be back by evening "I bite my lip as he suddenly kissed my forehead and walked out . EH ? Why is my heart beating so loudly ? I was eating some chips and going at the back of the house since they had a T.V there , I walked across the cabin but stopped and walked inside it .

She had always been in control even the first time she had kissed him she was in full control of her emotions but now all that flew out the window and the kiss became even deeper. I had grown accustomed to this, being able to control my being cheeky when I felt that he was angry. It seemed that I was the sole person who could make him show these roller coaster of emotions but I wasn't sure if that was good or not. One moment he was mad, then he was flirtatious and sweet then back to being angry again.

I saw her sitting on the bed as she was reading some kind of book which I wasn’t paying attention to. She smiled as I walked in. I sat down at the edge of the bed, not knowing how to begin. “Amelia...Amelia has been acting weird these days, what’s going on?” I asked as she drifted from the bed, as she stared at me she began to umm what I told her to tell me the truth she nodded her head before she cleared her throat. “Amelia….Amelia, she’s tired of all these things, her life has changed for the worse. She just wants her life back, that’s all.”

It was ownership—her grip tightening around the last thing she could still keep from him. The room tilted again as he tried to push himself forward—tried to make his body obey the urgency in his mind—and his strength betrayed him in the same instant. Then something sweeter threaded through it. Faint. Almost imagined. He blinked hard, breath hitching. The sweetness lingered anyway, clinging to the back of his throat like a film. It didn’t belong with the herbs. It was too smooth for sickness. Too deliberate.

Which annoyed him to no end. “You’re sweet and tempting, with a chance of being spicy.” Amber thought she could say this, and he’d accept it as flirting. He figured she said it to take the sting out of her earlier words. Amber tried to fix what she didn’t understand. “Chocolate can be bitter, or salty as well.” Heath reminded her chocolate wasn’t only sweet or spicy. It could be salty and bitter. “Now you’re being mean.” Amber paused and frowned. “I’m not sure if you’re being mean to me or yourself. Heath, is there more to this than temporary cold feet?”

She takes large gulps of it and swallows down the cake. "Are you okay?" I ask her, worriedly. She nods hysterically, "Yeah… I am fine. But ma'am, what was that?" "W-why Amber? Isn't it good?" I ask her, remembering Sanam's words. He said he liked it. She sighed, "It's so sweet, no it was salty… nah! I think it was bitter!” she exclaims and then looks at me, adding, “I mean you've used an excessive amount of sugar in it. You know, nobody can eat it. Also, it's hard from inside and I think you've added a large amount of choco power in it, that's why, it's bitter also. I'm really sorry ma'am, but you should've asked for my help."

“What do you taste?” “I can’t quite put my finger on it. But there is a hint of something sweet like cherries mixed with something tart like raspberries. But it’s not unpleasant. Why isn’t it bitter, though?” “Because it’s not that store-bought shit or the over-priced city crap. Now, do this.”
