Who was it? I closed my eyes and, just like that, I could see her. It was as if my mind had somehow made space for her, opening up and giving her the space she needed. Her fur was bright red, like leaves in fall. She had black paws and a white-tipped tail that swished happily from side to side. But it was those amber eyes that caught me by surprise. They sparkled with intelligence and mischief in a way that felt strangely familiar. But… It was a fox!

Maggie grunted, stepped forward and grabbed her by her long red mane. “AHH!” Valeen yelled as she swung her fists in the air. “Let go!” Maggie swung her around by her red mane with both hands tightly secured to her scalp. “I couldn’t find the toilet brush, but I guess this messy bush will do.” “Oh, God! You wouldn’t dare!”

He won't need to take care of me anymore. Fluffy came back into the cave carrying a sizeable furry animal. Maybe the size of a Labrador retriever squirming trying to get away. Little shrills came from the white-coated animal. For being outdoors and not a pet, its fur was ridiculously white with a hint of blue hue. The face was small and pointed, the tail big and feathery, reminding me of a fox or raccoon. Fluffy brought it to Creed, his tail wagging like a dog instead of its saunter wagging like a cat.

It would not take long for their bodies to turn purple from the poison and eventually die. The nine-tailed scarlet fox specialized in illusions. Its natural-born skill was called the nine-tailed illusion. Some mentally or spiritually weaker warriors would immediately lose themselves in the illusions after it was used. The fox would then hide in the shadows and take the chance to bite the warrior's neck, killing it in an instant! Neither of the beasts was easy to deal with, but they were not too difficult for Fane. Fane decided in just a moment as he pointed right at the nine-tailed scarlet fox!

Coincidence. Right? I had never thought I will see a nine tail fox easily. I mean, they are hard to get to and also, hard to kill. But having one on my side means victory. A nine tail fox are foxes that are found on earth, amongst humans and they are very much easier to recognise than humans. They are in the same species with the werewolves but more stronger than them. A huge grin was plastered on my face, as I approached the young lady.

Principal Andrews states. “Similarities?” Principal Sinker asks. “Same birthdate, similar names. Which caused a host of paperwork problems. His wolf is black, hers is white.” “Tala doesn’t have white fur, it just looks white in the moonlight. She has golden fur in the daylight.” I corrected my principal. “It depends on the time of day,” I told Principal Sinker.

Eventually, however, they were finally able to trap the holy fox within the hole it was currently in. Finally getting some results, Welson was now extremely excited. Gerald himself nervously said, “Don’t allow the beast to escape again! From what I’ve read in the Book of Beasts, not only is the holy fox extremely fast, but though its body is completely white, it’s an expert at concealing itself as well! However, the most worrying thing is the fact that it’s capable of quickly seeing through plans and routines. Once that happens, it’ll easily find a way to escape! The book specifically states that its IQ is even higher than most human geniuses!”

Chapter 36 Foxy’s POV I’m no longer Sam. I feel it so clearly as we walk to the table where Alpha Blair and my old friend Micki are waiting. Sam would never betray Micki by hooking up with her fiancé behind her back. Shit. What was I thinking? I didn’t know that was for sure. And, of course, the Alpha didn’t resist me either. If not, he welcomed my advances. I’m Foxy, and that will never change. I won’t dwell on the past anymore.
