West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

I'd die of embarrassment before either of them could kill me themselves. "I can't." I told him honestly, looking as downcast as I felt. He sighed, reaching into his desk drawer. He rummaged through it, trying to find something in particular. He pulled out a little book that said How To Ask For Help 101. He held it out for me to take. "This is for you." "Seriously?" I made a face at the title. "Give it a chance, there might be something inside that could help you." He pushed the book into my hand, making me frown.

I absolutely love every book of Rae Knight's I have read, and this one is no exception. Vivid characters you will fall in love with. One of very few authors that can surprise me with twists and turns. Her universe comes alive, and each book brings you deeper into it. Fantastic book so far!

World of Olympus

World of Olympus

My smile faded and was replaced by a frown when I realized the words written in the book were in the alphabet form of Olympus. If I cannot read and understand this in the first place, why did Dr. Foster give me this book? I heaved a sigh and looked at it, “I think we’re the same. We’re both useless.” I said to the book as if it was listening to me. “Err—Why are you talking to the book?” I almost jumped to my place when I heard someone behind me.

Reborn Queen

Reborn Queen

"You can use a medium to communicate with me, or we can use telepathy. Like water or a mirror." "I feel like I'm doing voodoo." To say the truth, Esme wasn't all that enthusiastic about participating in activities like this one. "If you can not do that, then you should be able to communicate with me telepathically. It will be beneficial for us both if we have our conversation while you are asleep. Simply getting into bed and thinking about me will bring me to you in your dreams." "I understand." The reflection that had been in the mirror was gone. "I didn't ask for this, but it looks like this book is entering the supernatural genre author. What next? Should I be expecting werewolves?."

"How is it that this other actress and not their so much-loved Esme..." First of all, stick to your tenses, and stop using past and present together, second of all, try putting the punctuation marks inside the close quote and not outside. Example, do this; "Esme is good." not this; "Esme is bad".

So many errors in your work, and yet you claim my favorite writer's book has grammar issues. This is so not nice. Try ready the description of your book. It's a nice place to start vetting what you've written so far.

 Chosen for the Lycan

Chosen for the Lycan

“Tell me about your nightmares “ she requested. I hesitated and glanced at her briefly before answering. “Nothing much to talk about.” “Do you remember most of them?” she continued to press on. “Not exactly” I lied. She nodded understandingly, then reached behind her and picked up a book. “Ava, I can't do anything for you if you don't talk to me” she explained calmly and gently, placing the book on her lap. It looked like a spell book, and she looked like a witch “Fine!” I sounded like a sulky child and I had no idea where these tantrums were rushing from.

Ignite me (A collection of Short Stories)

Ignite me (A collection of Short Stories)

It's loud, messy, my head thrown back, his groan vibrating against my throat as he pulses inside me. But it’s not just the sex. After we cool down, all cuddled and quiet, he actually talks. He talks about the weight of his father's expectations, how his whole life’s been planned out for him. I tell him about my mom, how the shop still catches her perfume on rainy days, how grief sneaks up mid-arrangement and I have to hide in the cooler so no one sees me cry. He wipes my tears with his thumb and kisses my eyelids so soft it hurts in the best way, and those quiet parts make the next round feel like more than bodies—like our souls are in on it too.

I Can't Get Enough Of My Stepbrother

I Can't Get Enough Of My Stepbrother

He goes away while I'm staring at everyone, trying to keep myself busy with my thoughts even though I feel out of place. He returned with a canned drink; we found a spot to see and finally sat. I suck at starting up a conversation; instead, I focus on scrolling through my phone while Daniel discusses it with the rest of the people sitting with us; it's a table of four. Then everywhere goes silent; the author of the book goes to the stage, and behind the stage is a projector displaying the book with animation that accompanies it. Titled, “When I broke free”It's a middle-aged woman, possibly in her late 40s.She begins.

Their same vibes talk was followed by another that made her feel at ease with Jace. "So tell me, Mortani, what's your body count?" the man inquired, his gaze fixed on her. "Body count? What is that? Measurement?" she questioned, perplexed. As she asked him that question, the man chuckled. "You know what, nevermind... You want something to drink? I'll get you some!" Jace interrupts the conversation. "Sure, just juice for me," she replied, smiling. Mortani was able to meditate peacefully while awaiting his buddy. She had no idea her life would turn out this way.

The Quarterback's Roommate

The Quarterback's Roommate

I showered fast, sat on the edge of the bed in sweats, towel around my neck, and hit video call like I do every night we’re apart. Eli answered on the second ring. His face filled the screen—messy curls, my old gray hoodie swallowing him, fairy lights glowing behind his left shoulder like always. He smiled that quick, crooked smile that still hits me in the solar plexus after all this time. “Hey,” he said, voice soft. “You look wrecked.” “Long day.” I rubbed a hand over my jaw. Stubble scratched my palm. “You?” He shrugged. “Edited three chapters of a book about people who actually know how to communicate. Wild concept.”

The Lies Behind Her Marriage

“Plus, this. Gotta walk the talk.” The book title was: How to Be an Effective Secret Lover. Serena laughed her heart out. She was so amused her eyes watered. “Seriously, you need a guide for that?” “I like to be thorough,” Nathaniel seriously said. “This… is uncharted territory.”
