Darkness Ignites Desires, after eight months, has come to an end. To be honest, I never thought there’d be an after. My mind spinning, thoughts running amok—I just wanted to run away and never show my face around here. Got to a point where I didn’t even know what I was writing anymore but I kept pushing. Jake stopped, getting back to his matter, “never mind. I wanted to show you this...” He slid out the book and placed it at the large table which was furthest in that part of the library. “Great, you joined a cult!” Matt scoffed. “What is it?” Gabriel asked, observing the strange symbol on it. “Well, I don't know, yet.” “What do you mean, you don't know?” came Gabriel, “I think a book’s supposed to be opened to know what it is...” “Ok,this is going to sound insane but when I opened it, fire came out of it, literally!”

Eve pointed to a small stack of books on top of the shelf in the corner of the room. “Which one would you like?” He asked Eve as he picked up the books. “My mommy and me.” Eve answered. That one was her favourite. Lincoln flicked through the books until he found the one with a bear on the cover with a little cub with My mommy and me. Eve scooted over and patted the bed beside her. Lincoln went and sat on the spot Eve made for him.

The anticipation was going to kill me. JAMESON I found her exactly where I expected—sprawled on the bed, her nose buried in a book. I recognized the cover immediately. Shirtless man. Woman in a torn dress. Dramatic font. Romance novel. I grinned and crossed the room, settling onto the bed beside her. "Getting ideas for when we're both healed?" Her head snapped up, and her face went bright red. "Jameson—" I snatched the book from her hand easily, holding it up to read the title. "The Duke's Dangerous Liaison. Sounds promising."

I skimmed the text, my eyes darting from line to line, trying to make sense of it. *Project Inferno— Weaponization of Wildfires.* My breath caught in my throat. Weaponization? what the actual hell...? I flipped through the pages, my pulse quickening as the details unfolded before me.

“It has to. Or we all freeze.” Steve nodded. “Then let's light it up.” --- The Ignition Ceremony At twilight, the Heartfurnace stood ready. Everyone gathered around the site—wolves, healers, engineers, farmers, even children. The chamber below hummed, glowing faintly with soft red light. Marcus stood at the center, holding a rod inscribed with the final ignition command. But he stepped aside and handed it to Emma. “This began with your fire,” he said. “It should start with it too.”

I whispered, slamming the slagged iron down onto the open page of the leather book. The Ledger of the Scar I didn't write a line of text. I used the heat of the molten iron to burn a hole straight through the center of the manuscript. The effect was an instantaneous, systemic shockwave. The valley didn't freeze; it recoiled. The iron Enforcers froze mid-strike, their hydraulic lines locking up as the text that authorized their existence was physically incinerated in the leather book.

James focused wholeheartedly on cultivating. After examining the Ignis, James realized it was not an ordinary flame. Instead, it was one of the most magical flames in heaven and earth. Ignis would come into being the moment a major world came to its end. After a major world’s destruction, an Ignis would rise out of its ashes. However, not all major worlds could produce Ignis when they were destroyed. Ignis would only form after the collapse of a world similar to the Primordial Realm.

I took my book and I lit my index finger with fire and tried burning the book. "They got us there". Zale said and sighed getting his own book and tried to toss it in the ocean. I stopped my fire and stopped him. "Well, as we are back to square one, let's just try to gather information from the northern part," I said and smiled at him. I put my book inside my bag again. It was pointless anyway, to burn the book. It is the book of origin, a book written by the Gods, it is protected from being harmed by anything, by anyone.

**Elizabeth's POV** * That night, I was awakened from my stupor by burning pain. The fire, however, was not the fire set by beta, but a flame of spontaneous ignition from my body. Strangely enough, the ordinary flames ignited by the alcohol seemed to be so afraid of my flame of spontaneous ignition that they could not burn me. Only my own flames could harm me. At that time, I clearly felt my skin wrapped in heat. However, my inner bones seemed to be hotter than my skin. My bone marrow flowed through my bones like lava.
