Malakai (Kai): I watched as the woman walked inside her Estate before I took a step back to walk to my car. My phone rang the second that I did, and I raised an eyebrow as I looked at my mother’s name on the caller ID. “And when I say that you have me tracked by someone, you go ahead and tell me that it is not something that you would do.” I said, answering the phone. The woman knew that the two of us had a major gap between us, and no matter what she was going to do, it wasn’t one that was going to be fixed overnight.

Each one of them bowed their heads. “I present to you, the next Alpha of the Stella pack,” My Dad began, raising my hand, “Alpha Cato Loren!” The crowd burst into applause as I gazed out at them, my shoulders back and my chin high. “His Luna, Jessica Michaels. And his Beta, Elias Smith.” The crowd only grew wilder, their howls and whistles echoing through the forest. My parents and Blair stepped off the podium, leaving the three of us. Me in the middle, Elias and Jess on either side.

she laughed. “But I loved you, I did everything you wanted, I even fought my father for you…you were the lady with Allen in the club,” I cried. “How could you?” “I am sorry…” she said, her voice dripping in mockery. “I was ahead of you, did you think that you could dump me after giving you a son?” Allen moved the phone away. “Mike, I really wanted you to see me take over The Rodriguez's group, but Maria is just being a bitch right now…and you are not cooperating, I can't let you destroy all my years of efforts…Goodnight Mike,” he said cutting the call.

“You’re not in any condition to leave, Tamara. Like I said, my aunt is a nurse, she can help take care of you. Stay, at least until you’re healed enough to walk properly.” I let out a heavy sigh as I weighed my options- like I actually had an option. “Fine.” He nodded his head triumphantly as he reached for the tv remote off of the coffee table. He turned it on and a random news station played. The news woman was reporting on the massive mudslide that swept through the area last night. Elliot left me to rest and watch tv while he fucked off to some other part of his house I hadn’t seen yet. I ended up dozing off again, no weird dream this time, thankfully.
