Vivian moved closer, her predatory gaze locked on Arla's trembling form. "You see, my dear," Vivian continued, her voice laced with danger, "I know exactly how to handle pests like you." Before Arla could react, Vivian's fingers clamped around her arm, digging painfully into her soft flesh. With a forceful jerk, Vivian began dragging Arla toward the mansion's expansive garden. After tossing and turning in bed for about two hours, I leave Linda, who is fast asleep, and tiptoe to the swimming pool on the rooftop. The sun eventually crept into the sky. It filtered through the trees and cast golden light onto the snowy ground. The warriors ran silently behind us. Some in wolf form, others riding motorcycles and jeeps, but they were always flanking Shade as he led the pack forward. Beta Norton was beside us in his wolf form like our personal guard.
