Before I could even process his order, Andrew planted his hands on the high stone sill and launched his massive frame straight out of the second-story window. He caught the thick branch of a nearby shadow-maple with one clawed hand, swinging his heavy weight down to hit the garden turf with a low, earth-shaking thud. He sprinted toward the gazebo like an apex predator closing in on its prize.
