I protested, my voice trembling. “We’re going out into the jungle,” he replied, biting my trembling thigh playfully. “What?” I snapped, the shock evident in my voice. He opened the door, and the chilly wind, accompanied by raindrops, enveloped my exposed body. Panic and frustration surged within me, and I screamed, desperately trying to grip the gate frame for support.

I snap. “Don’t you dare talk to me like that!” Ricky grabs my hair in a tight grip, pulling me up harshly. I grit my teeth, begging myself not to make a noise but it hurts so bad. Thrown into the arm chair in the corner of the room, I look up in panic as Ricky stalks towards me with a weird evil glint in his eye. I don’t understand anything until he yanks the shard of glass out of my thigh; finally, I scream. A blood curdling pained scream.

I scream with everything I have. His disgusting breath smells like he hasn't washed his teeth in months. His mouth opens up and his nasty tongue slides out. He licks my face making me cry out again. He keeps licking me. On my neck and biting me. I can't move there is no way for me to go anywhere. My daddy can't save me. This monster has made sure of that. My T-shirt is ripped off. His tongue goes lower from my neck to my chest and then lower to my stomach. "Jaykob!" I scream for my brother. "Jaykob!"

The sound that erupts from me is raw, unfiltered, and filled with a torrent of emotions that words alone cannot express. "AAAAHHHH!" The scream tears through my throat, carrying with it the weight of betrayal, hurt, and shattered dreams. It echoes off the walls, a desperate plea for answers and solace that can never truly be granted. The sound resonates, vibrating through every fiber of my being as if trying to purge the pain that threatens to consume me.

There is only evil. “ You… ” Her eyes turn black, the white disappearing altogether. “ You will lose your soul, Anasazi. ” A shriek pierces the air. My ears burn as if someone poured hot lava inside them. I scream, covering them. It’s not only me. Everyone is screaming. It hurts. It feels like my eardrums are about to explode. I shake my head, trying to suppress the pain, and look up at Aleister. He is not screaming like others, but he has released his grip on Agrona’s throat.

He raised his hand, preparing to strike the final blow— “NO!” I screamed with all the power I could muster, and Darcio froze. He slowly turned toward me, his eyes widening. It took me a second to realize my body trembled; it moved… I could move again. A shuddering breath escaped me, and a stream of tears fell. “Don't… kill him,” I rasped.

God. "Uhm... Mr.?" I found him looking at me when I said it. Answering your question, why am I still acting as if I’m not panicking? Don’t let me begin. I have no idea why I am. Tears burned the back of my eyes and scorched my eyelids. But they were not tears of pain, they were tears of overflowing joy.
