“You heard me,” I shouted again. “What are you doing here, Danzo?”
My mind raced. Thoughts of Tulips. Thoughts of the baby. Thoughts of everything I could lose in a second if this went wrong.
My body moved instinctively, positioning myself between him and the inside of the house.
Behind me, I heard Tulips gasp softly.
