Rita squinted her eyes as she looked out the window, she studied the environment for a moment, and nodded in approval. "T-this…" she hiccuped. ".. t-this is my brother's fiancée's house…" She trailed off as she grabbed the door handle and made to push it open, but her friend grabbed her hand and stopped her. "Your brother's fiancée's house? Then what are you doing here?" Rita smiled and gently removed her hand from her (her friend's) grip, then flashed her friend a reassuring smile. "I might be dead drunk, Tiffany, but I'm still very much conscious of everything happening around…" she paused and hiccuped a few times.

Rita glanced at my wrist and smiled. “My apologies, I didn’t know Miss Benedict was here too,” Rita said, stepping right up to Luca’s side. “I have to meet with a few cartels from the East tonight. I’m worried I can’t handle it on my own, so I–” “It’s fine. I’ll go with you.” Luca answered her before turning to follow her out. When they were at the door, Rita slipped her arm lightly through his. Then, she looked back at me over her shoulder, a provocative smirk playing on the corner of her lips.

As usual, Luciano had always despised these alcohol-filled social scenes, almost to the point of hatred, but this time, things were different because of Tanya. She was surrounded by a crowd, offering suggestion after suggestion in a soft, measured voice. Socializing among high-society wives was its own delicate art. Being a former courtesan, she handled it with effortless ease. She was smart but composed and kind, too. She won everyone over without question, the media included.

Elizabeth and the sales representative diverted their attention to the lady who just walked in. "Rita!" the name rolled on Elizabeth's tongue, never for once have they gotten along with each other, from the day they got married to the son's of the Anderson they became enemies.. "Oh it's you" Rita said in a sarcastic tone, she stared at Elizabeth in disgust and took a seat opposite her.. "Good day ma'am, this purse has been sold out, it's a limited brand and this is the last two in the country" Rita smiled at the female sales rep "Oh good! I'll take it then!"

And it won’t be the kind that gets the pretty princess.” I laugh as Jake closes the door and goes back to his post on the porch. “Rita, what brings you here?” “I heard that the food was good.” She gives me a look. “What else would bring me here?” “You’re in a mood today, huh?” “Only because you wolves are so annoying.”

But the smile gradually faded from her lips as she recognized the person coming their way. "I never thought we'd meet here again and oh, you have a date." Rita greeted Nicole with a smile as she analyzed her. "Nice to meet you again," Nicole said and smiled at the woman as well. She secretly smiled when she noticed how Rita's male companion looks at her. "Well, you're smart and know how to choose a man." Rita said meaningfully to Nicole. She wanted revenge because she was embarrassed in front of her brother before, but she didn't seem to be affected by her sarcastic remark.

After the bath, Rita’s stomach twisted when she found that Chris had not yet returned. ‘Is he with Maria?’ The thought itself sent pangs of jealousy to Rita’s heart. She felt angry and betrayed. ‘Are all men the same?’ Rita made herself busy by going through her emails and looking for at least one of her father’s friends who would be trust worthy. She needed someone on her side to get back her company. Unfortunately, she found none. Everyone she knew had changed ship and were now team Eric. Sighing, Rita stretched her body and looked at the time.

JACOB POV The laughter was still in the room like a feeling when Rita leaned back on the couch. She had her plate in one hand. She was using a funny voice like she was pretending to be Mrs Mayers. Rita was acting like she was very important like she owned the world. "You should come home Anna," Rita said, as if she were drinking tea from a cup that was not there. "It is time. You need to be taken care of " and then she started laughing. She was laughing so hard that she was almost choking.
