MARCUS POV This whole meeting was a damn scam there was no partnership this was just some cover up just to announce this contract marriage. I knew that Tara was many things but I didn't expect her to stoop this low just to get what she wants. I was so furious at first she messed with Kelsey and now she thinks that she can just ruin my life. Even if we would get married it would be a loveless marriage because I am not in love with Tara her purpose was to only fulfill my needs but that phase has passed and I'm not that kind of man anymore because Kelsey changed me.

I laughed, once again, to my own joke. A passing memory got caught in my consciousness, as I remembered it. Janet wouldn't tell me anyway so I decided to ask Tara. "Hey," I began. The girlfriend with a clean reputation who tames the bad boy.” A scoff comes from Finn, and for a slight second, I actually think he is going to say something.
