Waverly glared at his arm, which was covered in numerous tattoos, forming a sleeve, with the Crimson Shadow sigil placed in the centre. He pulled out a sketch pad and then a pack of pencils. "I heard you like drawing and since Sawyer's been so busy with the Lunar Eclipse coming up next month, I thought I'd bring you by some entertainment." He stretched out his hand, showing a tattoo of a wolf, with its tail wrapping around each of his fingers. Waverly slowly met him in the middle and took the book and pencils. "Thanks…" she said curiously. Even though she was weary of the man in front of her, it had felt like forever since she had scratched the surface of a new sheet of paper.

"Where so you want me to draw?" He asked. "My right shoulders" I wore a loose dress so I can easily slip my hand through it and let the guy draw it on my shoulder. "You want to get some?" I asked him and he nodded. "What do you want him to draw?" "A star with a number one in it."

I was just about to call after her - to tell her that we weren't done talking when she returned, clutching a stack of papers between her fingers. She crossed the room to where I was standing and held it out to me. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." I took the papers and began flipping through them - fast at first, but slower and slower when I realized what I was looking at. Drawings that Tate did. Various drawings of himself playing with other pups, drawings of the two of us with the rest of the pack, drawings of the two of us as a family with a faceless father figure, and finally, a drawing of a pack with a lone pup standing off to the side with drooped ears and a hanging tail.

I look at him and I feel like I'm going crazy. With a trembling hand, I touch the tattoos on his left hand. I feel hypnotized by them. There are thorns surrounded by roses. The drawing climbs on the cloth to the shoulder and then descends slightly on the back and chest. It's a great drawing. I follow it lightly with my fingers feeling tingling as I walk my finger over the tattoo. Something is written between thorns and roses near the heart. A name. "My Forever Elle". I put my hand to my mouth and sigh. What the fuck is this? Is this a bad joke?
