Tattoo Drawings Novels & Stories

In my hand I held and very small black book, small enough to fit in a purse or even a pocket. "Perfect." I flipped through the crisp blank pages seeing that it was unused and ready for me to fill. As I placed the notebook on my lap I immediately started sketching. My hand was moving freely like it had a mind of its own, and I had no idea what I was drawing. I flipped back the pages and furrowed my eyebrows deep in concentration trying to decipher the black scribbles. The tattoo's were always something that stood out in my dreams and now that I see them on paper it felt more urgent to understand them.

He moved his fingers across my skin to showcase the size of the tattoo, and I wanted to melt at the feel of his touch. “That works,” I whispered, trying to tame the attraction I felt toward him. While the tattoo would be larger than I wanted, taking up the entire length of my wrist, it would be a much better sight to look at daily than Brooks’ name. “Cool.” His fingers lingered on my skin a bit longer and desire danced through my core. “Let me grab a piece of paper and a pen. I’ll sketch out what I’m thinking for the design and we can go from there,” he said, releasing my wrist. He grabbed his drawing materials, and I watched as he balanced the sketchbook on his leg while he drew.

Plus I had my own life to worry about when it came to it. “Give me a minute,” he said to me as he rummaged through the papers, turned me around to take a picture then he placed both his phone and the paper next to me. “I drew these a while ago while you slept under dim light,” he said to me and I stared in awe as I saw that he had indeed detailed out the tattoos on my back. But this was just a session. “Can I see the rest?” I asked him and he nodded before setting them up in a way that I could tell that he had other plans for the drawings.

said Tucker, his black plaits hanging down his rippling back. “I will,” offered the tattooed Hayden. Removing his jacket, the delicate inking down his arms was on full display. His forearms were a menagerie of every animal and bird, all gently entwined in delicate ivy and branches. “Oh thank you so much!” Naomi simpered before putting her fists up and bouncing so her tits jiggled. /Unfair advantage right there/ Rush complained remembering how easily we were fooled as teens. Repeatedly.

You will be sorry. The tattoo artist finishes the last details of the drawing on my arm and wraps it around me. I have my entire left arm covered in art, it goes all the way to the beginning of my hand, I liked how it turned out. I had already been capturing art on my skin since I was fifteen and I will continue to do so. Without any meaning, without any specific reason.

I was just about to call after her - to tell her that we weren't done talking when she returned, clutching a stack of papers between her fingers. She crossed the room to where I was standing and held it out to me. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." I took the papers and began flipping through them - fast at first, but slower and slower when I realized what I was looking at. Drawings that Tate did. Various drawings of himself playing with other pups, drawings of the two of us with the rest of the pack, drawings of the two of us as a family with a faceless father figure, and finally, a drawing of a pack with a lone pup standing off to the side with drooped ears and a hanging tail.

Then decide. That was the right sequence. Evidence first. Conclusions after. I was good at that when the subject wasn't someone I had already felt something about. I turned the page. I drew the tattoo again. Better than my previous attempts. My hand was steadier tonight for reasons I didn't want to examine. The viper was clearer. The raised head, the coil of the body, the scale pattern I had been trying to capture in the earlier sketches. And beneath it the word. I drew it the way I remembered it. The italic lean. The first letter tall. The compressed middle. The curved final letter.

the man repeated, snarling. "Are you quite sure about that?" Detective Cooper pushed. "Look mate," the man wheezed. "Drawing tattoos is like my full-time job. Don't you think I would recognize a tattoo that I drew? This?" He pointed at the photo dangling in Detective Cooper's hand. "It's not the regular kind of tattoo I draw." His eyes glinted while he spoke. "This is a symbol. It was drawn by someone of a higher echelon. Someone who knows what it means. I don't think it's a random painting on the body. It has some symbolic meaning." He scratched his armpit unselfconsciously.

“Maybe this will help you stop fidgeting. It helps me.” Then he turned up the volume of the Ipod docking station before picking up his tattoo gun and diving back into work. I opened the sketchbook which wasn’t empty by the way. It had many designs, each one better than the last. Pictures of a skull covered in flowers, lady nurse, butterfly, orange orchard and many more drew my attention in so many ways. I finally found a blank space and started to draw, taking my mind off everything including the man sitting across me. Croix was still working so I decided to draw the bird I saw earlier flying over the water. I visualized the image in my head and I started drawing.

I am thankful he let me listen to that song. “Thank you… I almost forgot about those important details.” I bluntly said. He moves closer messing my hair making me grunt and gesture my hand, sliding it vertically to my neck. It’s a warning not to mess with my hair. “Oh… the tiger is now back.” I never mind what he was saying. I just focus on my drawing; maybe it will help me to find them. I picture out the tattoo I see on that bastard's left chest. It’s the only thing I can hold to find that tattoo. I draw a wolf eating the full moon looking up…maybe to praise the Moon Goddess or the opposite meaning? Devouring?
