Taylor From My Sister's Keeper Novels & Stories

I gave him a curious look as he walked away, but he was too busy laughing at himself for whatever reason to notice. “So, Taylor,” I went back to popping the tops off hard ciders, passing them to women a little further down at the bar while adding the drinks to their tabs. “You seem to be a big fan of Dare Bear. Do you come see him often?” SHe smiled shyly. “I, uh, came with my sister for a bachelorette party a few months ago. That was the first time I saw him. He was….He was,” she got a dreamy look in her green eyes, “amazing.”

I would've died if a colleague of mine hadn't come looking for me when I couldn't be reached. When I regained consciousness, I told Mom what happened. All she said was, "The fact that Amy treated you that way goes to show just how much of a failure you've been as a sister. You must've pissed her off with the things you said. Otherwise, why would she hate you so much?" All at once, I felt as though I'd been plunged into an icy pool of water. I was chilled to the bone. "Even if I'd been the worst sister alive, did that give Amy the right to kill me?"

Then his wife had appeared. “What sleepover?” she’d said sharply. “Are you planning to abandon your sister?” I remembered how fast his resolve had crumbled. “Taylor has the memory of a fish,” she’d added. “She won’t remember her medication unless Astrid helps.” And just like that, my life had folded back into Taylor’s. Taylor herself had appeared moments later, hand on my shoulder, voice soft and saintly. “It’s okay, Astrid,” she’d said. “You should go have fun—”

Alyssa looked at the handsome man in front of her. He had sunk down on one knee while looking up at her affectionately. "I heard that my dear sister wants to punish me." The man's lips curled into a mischievous smile. "Axel …" Alyssa murmured in a soft tone. "Whew! I was so relieved when I heard you call my name." Axel Whitaker was the fourth scion of the Taylor family. No one would have thought that a cold and distant man like him was capable of smiling at his sister brightly.

TALIA'S POV "Why are you so shocked?" I ask as I approach the bed and Taylor keeps watching me with a baffled face. I had imagined she would be happy to see me. But don't see a hint of joy on her face. Her gaze doesn't leave my face until I reach the bed and peck her forehead. A timid smile curves on her lips. I was however hoping for a more jubilant reaction. "Don't you remember me?" "Of course I do . . . you're my sister. You just look . . . so different. Like a heavenly Queen." She stutters the look of shock finally fading away. I sigh in relief because I had thought she had lost her memory or worse gone mad.

She softly says. I sigh. “It’s okay.” I say with a small smile. “Just don’t let that happen again.” >>> When we get back home, I go upstairs to my room, leaving Halsey to my mom. My phone starts vibrating. Dean: I’m sorry about your sister. Me: Why are you talking to me? It’s not like she’s dead. Dean: It seems like you’re always pushing me away, even when I try to help. Me: Maybe because I don’t need your help.

I jingle the keys in the air. She takes a step back, and I can finally access the door. Once it is open, she waits for me to invite her before she steps in. “I can’t believe Taylor kept me a scarlet,” she humped as she threw off her shoulder bag to the floor and landed on the couch, making herself at home. “I am his favourite sibling,” she added. “He has more than one sibling? ” I asked, shocked. I instantly regretted it by the way she was looking at me. Her lips quivered for a moment before she let out a loud cackle.

Taylor didn't think much about it as she concluded Elizabeth must've gotten it after her maternal grandparents since her own grandparents both had blue eyes. “Taylor, I came into town last night and mother filled me in on everything that's been happening here in California. I also heard that you're an actress. I indulged in it a few years ago, so you can talk to me about a thing or two.” Elizabeth smiled, referring to Taylor. Taylor snapped out of her reverie and refused to return Elizabeth's happy countenance as she looked away in a manner everyone termed as rude. Dante immediately flared up, “And what do you think you're doing, treating your sister that way! Did the manners you learned fro
