It just feels like me trying to be someone else is just --” “Impossible,” Taylor finished for her. “You know, we’ve got to stop interrupting each other,” Bonnie joked. “Maybe, but it’s the only thing getting my mind off what’s happening. My sister is out there, and I can’t do anything to save her.”

Another Chance To Live

Another Chance To Live

Now seeing Taylor standing in her office, it seemed like a dream that couldn't possibly be true. "I'm suffocating" Taylor managed to say "do you plan to murder me with a hug as my welcome gift" Avery broke from the hug laughing. Taylor had always been the witty one and it hadn't changed one bit. Seeing Taylor again had to be the best thing that had happened to her in a long while. She couldn't even remember the last time she smiled and had a good laugh. "Taylor," Avery called softly like she wanted to make sure it wasn't just a dream. Taylor had always been the sister she never had.

His Possession

His Possession

We were all caught off guard by the girl that walked in through the kitchen and stopped looking at us all as if we were the ones who had disturbed her. She was clearly Cody’s sister, they had the same dark hair and green eyes. The biggest difference I could see was that she was nowhere near as tall as he was. She glanced at me and I watched her eyes move from my arms to my face when Cody started talking. “Taylor, what in the fuck are you doing here? You’re not supposed to be here.” Looking up I saw the girl, clearly named Taylor roll her eyes, “I live here too jackass,” she said as she walked straight past us with all eyes on her not in the least bit knowing that she had just disturbed our m

He leaned forward again, pressing his finger firmly against the photo. “Yvonne Rogers. Let’s meet her.” My eyes narrowed immediately. The muscles along my jaw flexed once. “Why?” I asked. “She isn’t Veronica.” Taylor folded his arms, then shrugged, but there was something vulnerable in his expression. “I don’t know. I’ve always spoiled my sister. But this time… I felt like I actually had a sister who appreciated me.” He exhaled softly. “Maybe I just want to see that version of her. If it’s even possible.”

Stealing My Sister's Fiancee

Stealing My Sister's Fiancee

I stopped in the doorway. Across the street, under the glow of a streetlamp, a sleek black car was parked perfectly. And there, standing with his back against the car door, was Aaric Bernardi. I took a deep breath before stepping forward. I inhaled deeply before finally speaking. “You should call Mellan.” Aaric, focused on driving, only furrowed his brows slightly, as if I had just said something absurd. “Why?” I glanced at him, trying to keep my tone steady. “Because she’s my sister. And she’s your fiancée.”

Her Sister's Best Friend

Her Sister's Best Friend

Maybe she and Aiden have already left. "Are you looking for someone?" I hear Nathan's voice from behind me. "No," I reply, turning to face him. "I am just - " "Olivia!" I hear a familiar voice call out. I whirl around and there is my sister, Sarah, waving at me. I feel my mouth hang open in shock. Oh no, she is actually here. My gaze moves from her to the figure next to her. My heart sinks. Shit, Aiden.

I really love the story. I would love to see if they ever get married and have kids, and if any more obstacles comes in the way of their true love and what happens with Sarah and her new boyfriend and Bryan and his girlfriend. And whatever happens to their parents. Olivia and Sarah’s.

Pregnant For The Bully

His mum might have worked out everything out for him. "And for the Female position." My heart began to race faster. "We have Taylor Mcgregor." The hall became noisy, everyone was probably wondering why Taylor was nominated. Suddenly I heard the sounds of heels hitting the floor. I looked behind me to see Taylor walking towards the stage proudly, she looked beautiful, different and confident. Everyone looked behind to see who was coming, all attention were focused on her. The gasps, shock and awe was evident. "I thought she moved out of Beverly Dale."

I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I did. I commend the writer for a good job. The unexpected plot twist at the middle kept me glued and I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed reading, it makes me angry, sad and happy. This is one of the best books I have read on this app.

Friendly advice. DO NOT READ!!! The book starts good, but around the middle and especially at the end is SOOO BAD. Too many clichés just to keep the book going. The writer loses tracks of characters and plot lines, leaving plot holes. There is barely any logic in what is written. HORRIBLE BOOK!!!

Loner to Luna Trilogy

Loner to Luna Trilogy

When Taylor pulled back from the hug, she had a single tear falling down her cheek. She wiped away her tear and turned to both of her parents, “Mom, dad, I have some news for you, but, first, I want to introduce my older sister, Elisa.” Her mother looked at me and smiled, “You can’t deny she’s related to you. You two look so much alike.” Taylor smiled, “I have three younger brothers, also. They are all great. The reason I disappeared is because my biological mother kidnapped me and all of my siblings. Elisa was the one who saved us.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The main character in 'My Sister’s Keeper' is Anna Fitzgerald, a 13-year-old girl who was genetically engineered to be a perfect donor match for her older sister, Kate, who suffers from leukemia. Anna’s life revolves around medical procedures to keep Kate alive, but as she grows older, she starts questioning her role and whether she has any autonomy over her own body. The story becomes a legal and emotional battleground when Anna sues her parents for medical emancipation, challenging the very foundation of her existence.

What makes Anna so compelling is her internal conflict—she loves her sister deeply but also craves a life beyond being a donor. Jodi Picoult crafts her voice with such raw honesty that you feel every ounce of her frustration, guilt, and courage. The novel doesn’t just focus on Anna, though; it shifts perspectives among family members, giving a heartbreakingly full picture of how illness fractures and binds a family. Anna’s journey isn’t just about legality; it’s about identity, love, and the cost of sacrifice.
