V. I watch Joel pull Teegan up to their room and know they're going to mark each other. I look at Damon as we walk around the packhouse. It's so funny that Teegan and I met six years ago, and she's mated to my brother, and I'm mated to hers.

Teagan asks from beside me scaring the living daylights out of me. I stare at her wide eyed. “Jesus why are you still here?” I ask. “Aiden did you catfish this girl?” She asks loudly. I shake my head. “Jesus no. We don’t know each other’s first names. She hasn’t told me her first time either. I know her as Teigan and she knows me as Craig. We’ve talked since we were teenagers as friends.” I explain. She nods. “So you’ve never met?” she asks. I nod. “Yes we’ve never met face to face. We haven’t even exchanged pictures of one another. We’ve been talking for almost seventeen years. She grew up with me. She was there for me when I felt like I was alone...” I gesture toward the house.
