Fake Dating My Ex's Favourite Hockey Player

Fake Dating My Ex's Favourite Hockey Player

Her voice when she rants about the book I bought her — she devoured it in a day. Maybe I’ll bully her into wearing that dress I picked up for her. I catch myself grinning like a lovesick idiot. Yeah. It’s good to be home. “New York is as garbage as always,” Cam shamelessly declares to the driver. “But hey, at least y’all have a decent goalie here. Boston’s all mouth, no puck.” The driver doesn’t even look up. “I try not to watch hockey.” I snort. The driver’s grumble earns a dramatic gasp from Cam. “Blasphemy,” he says, clutching his chest like the man just spat on the flag. “You live in New York and don’t watch hockey? Shame.”

Addicted To The Legacy Alpha

Addicted To The Legacy Alpha

I'm not a die-hard fan of baseball, but the Yankees are most New yorkers' favourite by default. Stepping in, I jog down the bleachers following Alexis's scent. I find her just after seconds and slip into the seat right beside her at the edge of the row. She takes off her shades and faces me with a crooked smile. "I didn't think you'd come." "I didn't think I would, too, but I wanted to make things clear between us. Again." Alexis looks away, gulping down on a dry throat. She faces the court, and it's then I notice the imprint on the tee she's wearing.

DIVORCE DISCORD

DIVORCE DISCORD

The next academic session of the Yankee University commenced after the holidays. Numbers of students returned to the campus and began to prepare for studies, filling the dormitories with the clatter of keys and faculties with murmur of conversation. Vivian went back to the campus. She could not get in touch with Charles, who had been posted by the federal government on National Youth Services corps in a well reputable library stocked with advance English language textbooks.

This author ended the book without concluding the story. It finished Abigails story but then continued the book talking about Her friend Emma's past with Ron and then just stopped writing!! Paid alot to read this story just to be left hanging.

I paid a lot to read this book. only for the author to stop writing. she started dragging the recognition, then she finished the story of Abigal, then start talking about Lucas and Stella, she's not done with that, she jumped to Emma and Ron only to stop and keep me hanging. pls update the rest.

Fatal Fascination: A Mafia Trinity Novel

Fatal Fascination: A Mafia Trinity Novel

They would just chat until the nurses shooed the Bratva woman away. You wouldn’t say that Amaranthe was essentially the most powerful woman in New York with the way she held herself. She was so… plain and normal and not scared to admit she had flaws. Devyn loved this about her. You would think a woman with her stature would behave in a haughty way, but she never did. And she accepted Devyn as a friend, always offering advice when it was needed.

Unveiling the True Match

Unveiling the True Match

Seeing that Xoan remained silent, Yaslyn felt anxious. "I'm really okay—" "Yaslyn, what are you trying to explain? You don't need to explain anything!" Yale interjected, seeing Yaslyn's struggle. Yale's heart ached for her as he turned toward Xoan. "Did you, Mr. Xoan Warren, travel all this way just to interrogate your own girlfriend?" Xoan's eyes were already filled with a cold glint due to his concern for Yaslyn, but Yale's arrival intensified that chill. "I was speaking to my girlfriend. When was it your turn to butt in?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Stripper's Sugar Daddy [ENGLISH]

The Stripper's Sugar Daddy [ENGLISH]

Yana retorted, meeting his gaze with equal intensity, unafraid and unyielding. The man released her hair. Yana breathed a sigh of relief, but then, unexpectedly, he punched her hard in the abdomen. She crashed to the floor, groaning in pain, her eyes squeezed shut, almost losing consciousness. She clutched her stomach; the pain was familiar. Pain had become her definition of hope, a reminder that she needed to survive for her family. It would be unfair to her sister if she gave up just because of a little pain. She managed to sit up, clutching her injured stomach. She was used to his violence when things didn’t go his way. Yana had been gone for days without telling him where she’d been, bus

PROMISE ME, JAKE

PROMISE ME, JAKE

I gave them each a hug, a brotherly one. “I’ve heard many rumors about how beautiful the Mayor’s granddaughter is. For once the rumors are true,” Lee whispered, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me from Matt’s arms while we patiently waited for Tina. He just can’t let the baseball cap go, his curly hair spilling out of its confines. He even matched his get up with a Yankee’s shirt over a black skinny jeans.

Love the book. Miss Jake and Bobbie. Still ain’t sold on this Zach guy yet. Giving to much of a friend vibe. Jake was more of possessive boyfriend can’t touch mine kind of deal even if he is a jerk for not being honest with Bobbie.
allisandra❤
i only hope for Jake & Bobbie to reconcile. i hope that Bobbie will wait for Jake. and i hope that Jake's reason for doing such sacrifice will be worth it in the end. about Zach, i don't like him LOL 😅

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, 'Yankee-kun to Megane-chan' takes me back! The manga was created by Miki Yoshikawa, who also wrote the hilarious and heartwarming 'Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches.' Yoshikawa-sensei has this knack for blending comedy with slice-of-life vibes—like, the way she balances Yankee-kun’s delinquent exterior with his secretly soft heart is just *chef’s kiss*. I binge-read it years ago and still remember how the dynamic between the leads felt so fresh. If you haven’t checked out her other works, 'Yamada-kun' is a must—it’s got that same mix of absurdity and genuine emotion.

Funny thing, I stumbled onto 'Yankee-kun' after finishing 'GTO' and craving more delinquent-with-a-heart-of-gold stories. Yoshikawa’s art style’s super recognizable too—expressive faces, clean lines. Makes me wanna revisit it now, honestly.
