The Surprise Of A Lifetime

The Surprise Of A Lifetime

The need to have something that belongs to her in my hands overpowering the need to wrap them around his throat. Bart tries a few more numbers while I study the novels stored carefully in the old bookcase. I recognize a lot of fantasy books, some historical novels and a lot of romance novels. My fingers caress the backs of the novels until one in particular speaks to me. 'Tears of Tess.' I caress the front of the paperback. The cover is simple with the middle half of a woman on the front and the title crossing it. I flip it over and read the blurb. My eyes skim over the text as a small smile plays across my lips when I finish reading.

Soaked Wet for My Three Exes(a reverse harem story)

Soaked Wet for My Three Exes(a reverse harem story)

Steve's POV: The plane leveled off at cruising altitude. I had the window seat, the city lights of Singapore were long gone below the clouds. Nothing but black out there now. Just me, a half empty water bottle, and the small velvet box in my pocket. I pulled it out again, flipped the lid open under the tray table so the overhead reading light caught the stone. A thin gold chain with a single teardrop sapphire in deep blue. I’d found it in a tiny shop off Orchard Road, tucked between tourist traps and high end malls. The vendor had called it “ocean tear,” and said it was supposed to bring calm after storms. It felt fitting. She deserved something beautiful.

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

It was a desperate, practiced move, a thin stiletto blade aimed at my throat. Kaelen roared, moveing to intercept, but I didn't back away. I leaned into the strike, grabbing Philip’s cloak and twisting my body. The silver dagger Kaelen had given me caught the heavy wool of Philip's garment. Rrip. The lining of the cloak tore open, and a small, iron-bound book fell to the dirt, followed by a shower of gold coins that didn't look like any currency I’d ever seen. They were black, stamped with a weeping eye.

Alpha Atlas

I shook my head, clutching the book to my chest as his fingers wrapped around it. I could practically hear the withered book groan, my heart along with it. Dean's sly smile was wider now, realizing he had just what he needed to get to me. I could feel the book slipping from my fingers, a strangled whimper leaving my lips. The book was torn from my hands, a quarter of the paper cover fluttering to the floor. "This book special or something?" Dean cackled, dangling it in front of me like bait. Tears stung my eyes, but they often did. Every emotion I had seemed to be wired to my tear ducts, making the waterworks form all too effortlessly.

I normally don't write comments but I need to tell you that I wait everyday for more chapters. your writing makes me feel like I'm the one experiencing this first hand and I'm always begging for more. so beautifully written and I love every minute of it. if I could I'd give this book a million stars

This book was slow at first and filled with a lot of pain, but I find myself being a sucker for the wounded girl who becomes a strong, badass fighter. While I'm still clamoring for more of the raw, love/hate relationship in this book, I am enjoying the determination of the strong female protagonist.

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

“You think you’re special? You think you’re different from the rest of us? You’re just a broken little thing. Nothing more.” Eloise could feel the tears threatening to rise, but she forced herself to swallow them back. She had learned long ago that tears were a weakness Gold loved to exploit. If Eloise gave in, if she let the tears show, Gold would only see it as another opportunity to break her. So, Eloise remained silent, her eyes cast downward, trying to keep her composure. But Gold’s cruelty didn’t stop there. With a sneer, she kicked Eloise in the side, her heel connecting with the already bruised flesh. Eloise cried out, her body collapsing to the floor, the pain overwhelming her.

Song of the Winter Solstice

Song of the Winter Solstice

And then, as if the universe itself marveled at the spectacle, a cascade of tears—silver and gold—streamed from the royal elven woman's eyes. The ethereal tears shimmered in the air, a crystalline testament to the emotions that transcended the boundaries of our worlds. A fragile smile graced her lips, a curve that seemed to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and newfound purpose. Her words held the weight of ages, a proclamation of her mission guided by the stars themselves.

The Golden Eyes

The Golden Eyes

Marcus grabs my waist and pushes me behind him, “Your highness.” He did a bow-like gesture. “What are you doing?” Marcus opens his mouth to say something but doesn’t. “ And do not even think about lying. Your job was to stay hidden and to keep your eyes on her.” The purple eyes slowly faded to gold and Marcus sighed.

Tears of Sorrow

Tears of Sorrow

Revealing the twenty-four karat white gold necklace, speckled with small diamonds, ajured with hearts clasping around a small picture in the middle. Everyone suddenly pauses in silence as tears slowly fell from Michelle's beautiful golden honey brown eyes. I scooted closer to her, only to have her jump at me into a tight hug as she sobbed on my shoulder saying " Thank you! Thank you so much! This is the best gift I could have ever received! I thought all the photos of her had been lost and destroyed in the fire." Cole's father had been the one who found it while cleaning up after the fire had burnt down Michelle's grandmother's home.

Tears Of Luna

Tears Of Luna

I had now completely transformed into a wolf. With swift movements, I ran to all sides. Attacking all the warriors who charged towards me in unison. The sounds of battle and the smell of blood filled in the air. My eyes, which glowing a menacing yellow that pierced through any warrior’s soul, began to stare wide-eyed. Sharpening every snapping of my teeth that were ready to tear through anything. The remaining wolf warriors snarled again. Their wide-open eyes full of rage and sharp teeth filled with spittle, began to show their anger.
