Rejected Luna: Rise of the Moon Sovereign
“Tonight we burn the old banners. The Crimson Moon crest ends here. Tomorrow we raise the new one crescent alone. No wolf head. No crown. Only light.”
Mira spoke again, softer this time. “And the children? They’ll ask why everything changed.”
“Tell them the truth,” I answered. “Tell them a girl was broken here once. Tell them she came back whole. Tell them no one is ever truly thrown away if the Moon still sees them.”
A hush followed the slow pull of air across the floorboards. Dust shifted where it passed.
Up rose Thane. Step by step, he moved toward the top of the table no threat in his stride, just something held out. From stillness, motion came. Not force, but a gesture led him forward.
