I’m fucked! The one thing I hate in my entire life is roaches and crickets. But here I was, locked up in their den. A cockroach crawled across my chest. I fought it uselessly; the metal sang cold at my wrists. The insect left. So did something inside me. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I fought hard to stay calm; my flames wouldn’t answer. I was trapped. Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead in that smelly place; my breath was ragged and my sobs were heavy with untold pain.

Archie wriggled free from his mother’s clutches, then he made a silent dash to the group of people at the other end of the room. Stealthily, he crouched at the hem of the woman’s red dress. After making sure that no one was looking, he slowly unclasped his tight fingers. A wriggling cockroach emerged from his clenched hand. Excited from its newfound freedom, the cockroach wasted no time to crawl frantically all over the surface he landed on. That surface being the woman’s dress. It made its way from the skirt, up to the girl’s hair, then finding an opening in her chest, it crawled enthusiastically inside.

Nicole raised another strip of jerky to her mouth when her eyes abruptly widened. A giant cockroach crawled slowly across the floor. It was about the size of her thumb, and judging from its body shape, it wasn't even fully grown yet. That made no sense! She had sealed every drain in the apartment and covered every balcony gap with mesh, so where had it come from? Nicole instinctively reached for a slipper, ready to kill it. Before she could move, Ash shot across the floor like a bullet. Crunch! The rabbit swallowed the cockroach in one bite.

She looked up at the man who stepped through the door with hate twisting in her guts. Ellis had seen a lot of strange creatures, but never something like this. This was an evil teenage mutant ninja turtle with webbed feet. It looked between Nin and Ellis and squinted. The thing held a black box that he held towards Ellis.

Howard waved him off before continuing, “I heard you talking about the old hag who took Miss Norris. I happen to know something about it.” “Huh?” All three of them turned to look at him. Howard said, “When I was helping to cure Mr. Yardley from the venom, I found out that it was the venom of the Nefarious Roach.” “Venom of the Nefarious Roach?” Finn and Iris looked bewildered. It was the first time they had heard about this. Chase cut in, “The Nefarious Roach is a low-level spiritual beast. It’s shaped like a little green snake and is very agile in movement. It understands human speech and its venom is particularly lethal. It would cause instant death for an ordinary man with one touch.”

He wasn't greedy. The crabs scattered, and Victor successfully pounced on the legendary Source Crystal. Just as Victor was about to retreat from the underground space with the Source Crystal, the mutant crab went berserk. And then it tilted a little and some little legs poked hesitantly out. ‘It’s just a hermit crab,* he said. ‘Just going about its crabby little business.’

I eyed while she was smiling like someone who won the lottery. "Pagaal(stupid)"I muttered. "What sis that so cool I wished a celebrity kissed me too"Roxi said dreamingly. We were in my room with Tomika. "And I might have slapped him" I said slowly. "You what!!!" Both of them screamed. Then mom rushed inside the room. "What happened girls" she asked worried. "Uhmm well we..we" Roxi stammered looking at me and mika. "We saw a cockroach" mika lied.
