I put on the white sundress from yesterday's shopping spree. It had a delicate embroidery that had seemed so beautiful in the boutique mirror. It was perfect for the tropical weather. I paired it with a matching sun hat that came with it and put on simple pair of sandals and returned downstairs. Tariq smiled when he saw me. "You look wonderful." I flashed him a sweet smile. "Thank you Tariq." Soon we were on our way. The boat trip should have been wonderful. And honestly, it was. The water was a beautiful turquoise color that seemed to sparkle in the morning sun.

I slowly paddle towards him not to wake him up, I gently place my hand under his head to support him, my slightest touch is enough to jolt him up. His beautiful eyes open up settling directly on me. "Celeste" he whispers lovingly, "Theo" I say softly. He sits up straight, he wastes no time in pulling me in his lap sideways. I stare at his face noticing the slight stubble and dark circles marring under his beautiful eyes, I nuzzle my face in his neck, breathing in his scent. He smells of forest and after rain. "Tonia isn't responding" I say broken heartedly. A wolf disconnecting from their human isn't a good thing.

Lauren makes a trip to the top deck after she finishes organizing the luggage to her designated cabin. She only brought a handbag and one suitcase that had enough clothes for her during a one-week trip on the cruise ship. Soon enough, the cruise ship set sail. Lauren tucked some stray hair behind her ears and stared at the sea. Watching the fiery sun moving towards the sea. The sky horizon turned into a brilliant blue, consisting of mixed colors of red, orange, and yellow. The breeze hummed in silence and in harmony with the waves that gently hit the cruise ship. The waters below reflect the breathtaking scenery.

But when Esme began to train me, the iron would change and chase, a playful, maddening flow like water. Now it is like a wild wind, a tornado. I raise my head in wonder as it seems to be coming out of the cells of my body, everywhere at once. The iron is no longer separate from me. It is me. My vision blurs, my ears are filled with a rushing roar sound, I smell sulphur and fire. Wherever I turn my gaze, sparks flare. I watch as the tornado lifts the guards who had surrounded me, flinging them back and pinning them to the walls of the cathedral-- grimacing, writhing, living statues. But when it comes to the children and the babes in arms, the wind is a mild sea breeze that skips around them.

The day was early yet it looked as if the time was almost night. The hour was six in the morning yet the sky was dark and gloomy whilst the extreme breeze felt ice-cold. It wasn't a typical day, it was almost like the Gods were fighting up in the sky. The thunder echoed in the streets, lightning struck parts of the city, and the clouds were ready to pour out their frustration and cause trouble to the humans below.

A flicker of curiosity flitted through her eyes, as if searching my face for something. "Let go of me!" I hissed, trying to bring myself back to reality and using all my willpower, I shoved her away. Her eyes widened and a surge of anger seemed to roll off her. As much as I wanted to back away, I couldn’t. This ship was already caught up in this storm and I needed to keep my hold on the wheel, just like Cleo had asked of me. My teeth were gritted as I held on with all my might. "Tempest." She hissed, she raised her hand and my eyes widened at seeing the waves grow higher behind her.

He had no business dwelling on the enemy. *** Tempest was looking up, at the skies, wondering at her existence, wondering at the depression eating her up for a male that wasn’t worth it, when she felt the sting on her chest. She looked away from the skies, down to her throbbing chest, and wondered what was wrong.
