Terrible Writing Examples

Lily, an author who wants to stop writing, was despised by her readers because her book, "Love is in Your Heart, My Prince," had such a horrible ending. One day, she awoke playing the part of the villainous character who was to be executed by the tyrant emperor.

Right when she thought she was going to hit the ground something hard caught her, a pair of arms and when she looked up she was staring into a set of deep gray eyes..... This is my first attempt at writing so I'm sure there are plenty of mistakes, any and all comments/reviews are welcome. Thank you and I hope you enjoy 😄

My story is about a feisty omega with a couple of “gifts” from the moon goddess. She is forced to take a chosen mate under the orders of her alpha. Her chosen mate ends up being a terrible husband who cheats on her and whom she has two kids with, she then meets her fated mate, a Lycan king. They struggle to be together and things take an even rockier turn when the omega and the lycan king have to work together to save the human and werewolf world from a growing clan of vampires.

The story takes place in the medieval time of kings and queens. In the place where there are four kingdoms with the names of the four seasons. Two large arranged marriages begin a terrible event, which will change everyone’s life, turning them into other people. Belle, the queen discovers that her own son was killed by her husband under the command of his mistress. Cassian, has a bad relationship with his father, after the death of his mother, he is hated by his people, is a man without mercy to his enemies. But after discovering that his father plans his death in a war, he is forced to team up with Queen Belle to prevent the war from happening, as her husband is also plotting against her for his death. The two embark on a journey in search of an unknown kingdom never seen, but always spoken of in mystical stories of the kingdom. In the midst of all this obstacle that arises, Cassian is injured, Belle kidnapped by outlaw men, but manages to escape to the kingdom ruled by women. Meanwhile, in his kingdoms, King Cassian’s best friend joins his father at the beginning of the war.

My husband, Jaxon Murray, was a renowned medical expert and owned a big company. He was participating in a clinical drug trial when someone tampered with his medication. Under the influence, he ended up entangled with an intern—ninety-nine times, right there on the lab table. When he regained clarity, he rushed home, locked himself in the bathroom, and submerged himself in the tub without food or water as he waited for me to return from work. "Lauren," he said, "my medication was switched during the trial. I made a terrible mistake. But I paid her off and had her dismissed. She'll never appear before me again." I wept miserably, clutching my belly that had once again failed to carry life. And in the end, I chose to forgive him. Several months later, he crashed into a guardrail while answering a phone call, causing me to miscarry. The injury left me unable to conceive for life. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, his voice choked with remorse. "Darling, I don't deserve you. I'm so sorry… We don't need children. We have each other, isn't that enough?" One day, I went to bring him lunch, only to find him in the next hospital room, cradling and feeding the woman he swore he'd never see again. "She's too weak to eat by herself," he said. "She has early-stage stomach cancer. There's no one else to take care of her… she's all alone." I chose to believe him. Again. Until one day, a pair of twins appeared in our home. Sophie Dixon knelt before me, wearing the postpartum gown he had once lovingly picked out for me, clutching my hand with tears streaming down her face. "It's all my fault. Please don't blame Jaxon. If you say the word, I'll leave with the children immediately." Jaxon grabbed my other hand, desperation thick in his voice. "Lauren, you've always been the kindest person I know. The children are still so young. How could Sophie possibly raise them alone? You wouldn't be that cruel… would you?" I looked down at the hands gripping mine from both sides, and suddenly, I laughed. "Jaxon, let's get a divorce. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness."
