Thalia drags her hand under the pillow and takes out a book. "I took it from the Atlas's room. I want to learn how to tap into Rina's power, how to control it, use it."
Thalia opens the book in her lap, flipping to a page marked with a scrap of dark cloth. The text is old, dense, written in looping handwriting that bleeds at the edges of the paper like it was penned with something more alive than ink.
