Whole. Then — like I’m possessed — I look back down. And that’s when it happens. Over Mike’s head, Damion grins. Just … grins. Good Lord. It’s slow and wide and completely devastating. Laughing eyes, crooked mouth, zero effort. How can a grin — from that distance — turn my spine into jelly?

“You should have stayed dead to me,” Damson said quietly the moment the door closed, his voice controlled but shaking underneath, and I stayed seated while my eyes moved between the woman standing in front of us and the man beside me, already feeling that something had gone very wrong in a way I had not planned for. The woman smiled slowly, the kind of smile that did not reach the eyes, heavy makeup sitting on her face like armor, perfume thick in the room, and she tilted her head slightly as if studying Damson from a distance even though they were only a few steps apart.

Damien was smiling coldly, his hands moving in a slow, hollow rhythm. "Wow. Wow. What a splendid performance," Damien said, his voice dripping with icy sarcasm. "Deny me on stage, and then use my name to scare people off. Don't you think that's shameless, Elijah?"

“I’m yours.” Damien smiled—that dark, possessive smile—and positioned himself at my entrance. The thick head nudged against my sensitive folds. This was only night one. And I already knew I was in deep, delicious trouble.

He half smiled, half smirked in her chest. He playfully and agonizingly turned to me with that silky smirk still plastered on his face. What a jerk. He probably sensed my presence a fucking long time ago but still had to finish up with that cheap slut of a female dog. I averted my gaze trying so hard not to blink because just a few more blinks would send a tear streaming down my cheeks. Damian sighed. ''Oh Sky, Sky, Sky. Didn't someone teach you how to knock?'' He slurred, his voice coming out husky and quite unclear.

Damien I watched her as she opened the bags, checking each item with delicate care. Her touch was light, reverent, and that big, radiant smile on her face made my stomach churn. I hated that smile on her lips. Hated it even more when it wasn't there. Fuck. It didn't make any fucking sense.

Others glared openly, feeding on my humiliation. Damien leaned lazily against a pillar in the corner, arms folded, lips curled in a smile that wasn’t a smile at all. He looked like a viper basking in the warmth of my downfall. His gaze raked over me slowly, savoring every tremor in my hands, every breath that shuddered from my lips.

“You can't fuck me, Damien.” “We will see to that, too.” I say with a smile.

Smith complained. Damien’s eyes danced through the people seated before him and he smiled wide at their stupidity. He had taken note of their greed for his money and now, it was time to show them their stupidity to their faces. “Well, I did say you guys were going to pay me back the money, but you guys failed to ask how you were going to pay it back.” He smiled wide at them.

I don't have friends - I am not sure if that is something that I should be proud of. Well, it's not like I don't try to approach my classmates or try to interact. It’s just that I have a weird smile. No, it's not the type of smile that involves weird and rotten teeth - I have perfectly white and straight teeth. You see, my smile is fatal and dangerous. Just one look at these weapons and even the ferocious growl of a mountain lion would seem harmless. If this were a comic, I would call this attack: The Killer Smile.
