The Favourite -My Own Flesh and Blood

The Favourite -My Own Flesh and Blood

The most terrifying thing she has ever experienced as a wife is to be left alone by her husband once more. She was abandoned as a kid at their ancestral home in the huge fields because she was unable to work as hard as her older siblings on the plantation. She is now likely to be abandoned once more since her five adult children are going to be married. Amata, Debbie, and Bernard left their privileged positions to find employment in the city, where there were several opportunities available for those with professional degrees. They seldom visited because they already had their own family of their own.

none of the books I'm reading are updating...(3) and will be reluctant to start another,, and 2 that do usually update of the 3 more frequent as the one which is not at all, only allows minimal time to read..less than an actual chapter, they act like its a few when still on same scenario and events.

The Mafia’s Forgotten Wife: Pregnant and Abandoned

I was Vincent's wife—his pregnant wife—but ever since he’d made up mind to protect Rosa’s baby, my baby and me became invisible to his eyes. This baby had once been my hope, my dream, after years of waiting. But now? Now, I don’t think so. I had made a mistake. I never should’ve had this child if I’d known it would be born into a family like this—a family where the father gives more attention to the other child than his own baby. Vincent had returned to our mansion just when I thought I could finally get some rest, his eyebrows furrowed, clearly troubled by something. He dropped to his knees in front of me as soon as he saw me and, looking as if he was explaining a grand, noble cause, said,

Tell Nathan to check his mother's private safe. The real reason for this marriage is not in that hospital room. It is in his own house.
