The Runaway Wife

The Runaway Wife

I breathed, trying to keep my eyes off the screen. I can’t look at him or stare at his picture for years. This has been surprising for me because it almost drained my energy. “What? But the show just started,” She pouted, which forced me to bite my lower lip. I am more than surprised that she doesn’t even recognize me as the wife of her favorite actor. “Well, Tain is telling me that he is starving, we will watch tomorrow early,” I told her, which made her nod. “I see, alright, but it is such a shame for this man, I heard his wife is missing, she ran away and wasn't found until today,” She claimed and that made me nervous.

Runaway Bride

Runaway Bride

The hallway light is off, and only the moonlight illuminates us. The cold begins to brush against my skin, but I walk towards him. “That doesn’t mean I plan to leave.” “You have reason to leave me.” “Is that what you want? For me to leave? A runaway bride on her wedding night?” I stop in front of him. I feel his gaze on me. My breasts harden with his masculine closeness and heat. “You are my wife. You would be a runaway wife, more like.” His hand slowly runs down my cheek and tucks a naughty lock behind my ear. I close my eyes to enjoy this I was missing and had no idea.

The Hot Mafia CEO Hates His Proud Wife.

The Hot Mafia CEO Hates His Proud Wife.

John didn't answer for a moment but then he nodded curtly, "I asked her where she was going but she said that she doesn't find it important to inform me about it. And I didn't use other methods to stop her because she is your wife. I did not want to disrespect her." Samanvay closed his eyes and clicked his tongue against his cheek inside his mouth. A surge of possessiveness shot through his veins hearing it. "It's good for you that you didn't touch her, John. It's good you didn't touch her," he gritted out letting out a deep angry breath. John was aware of the consequences for touching His things and Manya was His wife. John understood the consequences of touching Manya could be disastrous.

Chasing My Run Away Wife After Regret.

My grip on my phone tightened as I spoke through gritted teeth. "Because_One, you are going against the clause stated in your marriage documents which was created by your late father, Douglas Cage, when you were getting married to Reyna. And_Two, you are being irresponsible because what sort of husband would let his wife run off without giving a damn about where she ran off to for the past three years?!" He demanded and I finally lost it!

Two Days Until the Abused Hero Reboots

"We're here to take you back to the estate, you runaway!" "The punishment for killing someone is your life. The terms of your contract make it blatantly clear that you've been demoted to a staff member of the estate. How dare you run away when you were only delivered to the estate yesterday? You've got some nerve!" Andrew felt as if he had been struck by lightning. "A runaway? What nonsense are you spouting?" he shrieked in disbelief. "I'm Diana Snow's husband! Let go of me, you lowly imbeciles! Let go of me now!"

Wow… I loved the Alpha King’s Hated Slave and then decided to give this one a try… what a wonderful read. I love how all the characters grew through their suffering. This book shows so beautifully how true family is sometimes the ones we chose for ourselves and not the ones we were born into.

Frequently Asked Questions

I stumbled upon 'Runaway Wife' while browsing through a list of underrated dramas, and it hooked me instantly. The story follows Yoo Jin-hee, a woman who seemingly has the perfect life—wealthy husband, beautiful home, and societal respect. But beneath the surface, she's trapped in a loveless marriage filled with emotional abuse. When she discovers her husband's infidelity, she snaps, leaving everything behind in a dramatic escape. The show's brilliance lies in how it portrays her journey from fragility to fierce independence. She reinvents herself in a small seaside town, taking up odd jobs and forming bonds with locals who don’t know her past. The tension builds as her husband, a powerful figure, begins hunting for her, leading to a cat-and-mouse game that kept me on edge. What I adore is how the drama balances thriller elements with moments of quiet resilience, like Jin-hee learning to fish or defending her new friends from corruption. It’s not just about running away—it’s about reclaiming agency, and the final showdown had me cheering out loud.

One detail that stuck with me was the symbolism of her red heels. Early on, they’re a status symbol her husband forces her to wear; later, she throws one at him during their confrontation. The writing avoids clichés—she doesn’t magically find romance or wealth again. Instead, the ending is bittersweet but empowering, with her opening a tiny café by the pier, finally free to make her own mistakes. If you enjoy stories like 'The World of the Married' but crave more raw, grassroots survival vibes, this is a hidden gem.
