Usually they became cruel and sadistic, Aamon eventually taking over fully. Hunters were well acquainted with the stories because when a new demon wolf was awakened, it usually meant that the elite hunters were sent to kill them before he could take over. These true-blood hunters possess the coveted werewolf genes that set them apart. In contrast, families like The McKnights and the current hunters within the bureau fall into the category of Lesser Hunters. These Lesser Hunters were once fully human but have acquired supernatural abilities, somewhat akin to those of the true-bloods, through the use of Talismans. While they may not match the true-bloods in strength, they still manage to get the job done.

Matthew’s body was weak after taking all the hits. His left arm was clearly broken, he couldn’t even move it. His neck was being held and choked by the demon. Matthew could see her smirk through the small slit of his eyelashes. It pained his heart if it were to end like this. He barely even got to see what this world had to offer.
