My father glared at my captor named Enzo. Enzo glared back. “It’s better to let her know now and you know I’m right.” He replied harshly. My father sighed tiredly “Tell me what…..” I asked cautiously. “Enzo is like a son to me and also the current don of this mafia, meaning that you have to be wed to him.” My father said. My eyes bulged out in shock. “What?!” Enzo leaned back in his seat, his piercing dark eyes scanning my face intently as he watched my reaction.

Enzo laughed at the restraint and walked out, leaving behind a threat that hung in the air like poison. "Who is he?" I asked when we were alone again, Father Marco having left to give us privacy. "Enzo Romano." Damien's voice was hollow. "He works for my father, has for years. He's an enforcer, the kind of man who enjoys hurting people." "Your father is Don Salvatore Moretti." I said it as fact rather than question.

Enzo was waiting for the perfect time when he’d strike. A figure entered the room, and Enzo turned to look at her. "Any news?" he asked, lighting up another cigarette. "It seems like the Godfather will become an enemy to Alessio soon. Mind partnering with him?" she asked, lighting up her own cigarette and puffing into the air. "Salvatore is a green snake in the grass. Working with him is the last thing I would do. Besides, I want to handle Alessio on my own. Whoever kills him first gets to wear the crown."

Riccardo asks Enzo. "Yes, Don Marino, it was my first gift. My name is Enzo Valentino. My mom is just trying to take the blame all on her because she does not want me to get hurt. I take full responsibility for killing your father. And if you feel like you have to punish us, please do not punish my mom," Enzo pleads for the woman he only found out tonight is his mother.

Xander felt his blood heat up, he wanted nothing more than to put his fist in Giovanni’s face. “Right.” Matteo scoffed, “but as much as I’d love to rant about what an asshole our father is, he’ll never admit it but Enzo needs a break.” he stopped them a few paces away from the table where Enzo had already taken up residence and gave Xander a meaningful look. “Say no more.” Xander slapped his shoulder and went to take his seat beside Enzo at the table. “I ordered a round of beers.” Enzo leaned back in his chair, focussing on the baseball game on the large screen, it was already twenty minutes into the game between two teams he was only somewhat familiar with.

I trust our son has welcomed you into the fold?” Scar nodded so hard I worried her head was going to topple off. “Of course he has. He’s been most welcoming.”

Arieon eyes slowly opened and she saw Enzo's back view. *Am I already in heaven?*, she thought as she began to loose consciousness again. Matteo noticed this and began to panic, "Enzo, we need to get to a hospital fast!".

Every second without Sofia felt like a blade to the chest. He felt he couldn't breathe without her. A shadow approached. One of his men hurried up, phone in hand. “Sir… someone’s calling. He says it’s urgent.” Leonardo snatched the phone. “Who is this?” A familiar voice slithered through the speaker. “Leonardo. You must have forgotten me… but I still remember you.” Leonardo narrowed his eyes. “Who the hell are you?” “I’m Enzo. Brother of the late Don Adrik. And the new head of the Russian mafia.”
