The white magic was still eating away at his flesh. "She is strong," Thorne rasped. A figure stepped out of the shadows. It was Beta Marcus. "Is it done?" Marcus asked nervously. " is the Alpha dead?" Thorne lashed out. He backhanded Marcus across the face. Marcus flew into a tree and crumpled. "You did not tell me she was a Royal," Thorne roared. "I didn't know!" Marcus whimpered. "Nobody knew!" Thorne looked back toward the cottage. "The Alpha lives," Thorne said. "She healed him. I saw the flash of the bond. They are connected now."

She couldn't even stand still anymore as she feared that Alpha Gregor’s response might break her so she knocked and entered the room after she got a response.
