Romans & histoires The Alpha King And His Second Chance

Dante snapped but the second he saw the Alpha King, he paused, bowing his head down in reverence before him. Both of them were staring at me but in different ways. Dante was staring at me with rage and anger, a malicious intent as if he wanted me dead on the spot. Whereas the Alpha King looked at me with curiosity. As if I was something porcelain he was seeing for the first time. “Do you know this man?” he asked me, ignoring Dante’s greetings. I hadn’t answered when Dante responded on my behalf… like he always did whenever I was asked something by another man. “This is my mate, Alpha. She is Alba, the Luna of Moonstone pack,” he said firmly.

"My Alpha, may I inquire as to why Apha Braxton graced you with his presence?” Alpha Trayton glances up from the scattered parchments on his desk. His piercing eyes, like shards of ice, bears into me. "Ah, you are observant, as always," His voice shows amusement and malice. "Braxton’s presence here is indeed unexpected." I remain unmoved, waiting for an explanation. Alpha Trayton leans back in his ornate chair, steepling his fingers. "It seems that his fate has taken a dark turn," he begins, his voice filled with a deceptive semblance of concern. "His son has been kidnapped."

He’d fought countless battles, and time had taught him tactics we never knew of. “What a pity,” he spat, looking his sons up and down with disgust, “I wanted to cherish this father-son bond. But you’ve ruined that. I will have another heir, but I will NEVER forget. I will never let a failure tarnish my throne,” Alpha King shrieked. He intended to kill us all. Adam and Dean both knew it then and there. It was at this moment that I believed everything Dean had told Adam and me back in the cave. Gathering his strength, Alpha King launched a deadly attack, worse than any he had used against his opponents in the battle earlier against the Crimson Moon tribe.

His tone shifted, almost gentle, as he spoke. "But I promised my little princess,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, “that not a single drop of Crimson Pack blood would be spilled. And I, Alpha King Albert, keep my promises. I won’t touch a single soul here. You’re all fortunate...because my daughter loves this pack more than her own father.” His eyes held a strange mix of pride, regret, and a faint sorrow that made Selena’s own eyes sting. “But that won’t stop me from claiming my revenge,” Albert continued, his voice chillingly resolute. He turned his gaze to the royal family members from Euphoria, his expression hardening once more. “So, to the royals of Euphoria, I offer you

Covered like everyone else, I could move more freely without being recognized. It felt like the heavens were finally on my side. They knew just what I needed, and maybe the heavens really wanted me to kill this alpha. I had heard a lot about him, he was the second in command to the devil, that’s if he wasn’t the devil himself. Maybe the heavens wanted him out too. As the events continued, I found myself inching closer to the Alpha King’s table, the machete weighing heavily against my leg. My chance was coming. I could feel it. I could hear the beats of triumph.

"Is that the best you've got, you fucking..." She snarled in annoyance since she was unable to complete her statement due to the sudden recurrence of pain on the side of her face, and she refused to amuse him with her agonising screams. THE ALPHA KING opened his mouth and emitted another battle cry. With a yearning only Alpha Helix's death could satiate, he sprang off the ground and began to scale the concrete panel. As soon as the Alpha King's fingers grasped the wall's edge, he climbed over it and was struck on the back of the head with a metal rod.

I tell him and he tilts his head to the side and looks at me like he was questioning what I had just said to him. Finally, he says, “That’s impossible. He’s the Alpha King.” Pushing Alpha Chance away from me, I said, “Why is it impossible? Haven’t you noticed the way he has been acting lately? What he did to me on the stairs and then the two of you were just about to go at it when I walked into the room.”

“If that’s really all a woman is good for to you, then you really should think of stepping down. You are a disgrace.” “How dare you!” The Alpha leaped to his feet and bolted towards her. He was fast, but I was faster and in half a second, I had his head in the grip of my hand, his feet dangling off the air as I lifted him up, slowly crushing his head in my grip. There was brief moment of hushed whispers passed around before silence ensued just as Alpha King Ray got down the throne, his movements, slow, dangerous but precise as he approached us.

Bitter memories flooded my mind and I gritted my teeth together, hugging Amaris tighter. "No, everything is not going to be okay..." I sobbed into her chest. She hugged me tighter, continuing to pat hair. The revelation of the Alpha King as my second chance mate left me with more questions than answers. What did this mean for us? How would this revelation shape our future? Only time would tell.

A searing heat flooded my core, rushing all the way up to my flushed cheeks. I waited for him to shove me off. I waited for the fury. But Varek didn't move. He lay perfectly still in the snow, the cold doing nothing to cool the blazing, predatory fire in his dark golden eyes as he looked up at me. His gaze dragged from my parted lips, down the length of my messy blonde hair, and rested on where my hands pinned him down. A slow, dangerously amused smile curved the corner of his mouth. "Interesting." My breath hitched. And in that terrifying, electric moment, I realized exactly what I had just done. I hadn't just survived the training yard. I had just pinned the Alpha King.
