Novelas y relatos de The Alpha King's Rejected Mate

She was not ready to hear it. “I, Gideon Woodbead, the Alpha king of the Shadowcrest pack, reject you, Angela Clampitt as my mate, Luna and wife.” The Alpha deadly tone rang in the air as He snarled, looking down at her. Angela gasped loudly, she felt like a physical blow as she staggered back. She felt like someone plucked her heart out painfully. She let out a cry in agony as sudden hollowness gripped her body after being rejected. She looked into his black pitch eyes glaring at her.

My nose was the one controlling me, as all I was thinking about was my mate. In no time, I found myself in the middle of my mate's office. Around him, what seems to be the werewolves' coven. Immediately, I wore a smile on my face as I was intending to introduce myself, but weirdly enough, he spoke as if he was intentionally trying to stop me. "Amara, I’m Lucien, alpha king… I reject you as my mate! From now on, I want nothing to do with you.”

“You’ll come with me, eventually. You know it as much as I do.” I didn’t respond. I just stood there, watching him as he turned and disappeared out the window, leaving me alone with the growing conflict inside me. ~ The days passed, and each night, August returned. Each time, he knocked on the window, waiting. And each time, I let him in. I asked him questions—about the mark, about being an Alpha King, about what it meant to be his mate. He spoke with the same calm certainty, as if he knew that I would give in soon.

he said, “ But you must never tell anyone about the mate bond. ” Tears swelled up in my eyes but I prevented them from falling down. What was I expecting? That he would accept me as his mate? The tension in the room thickened as the Alpha King’s piercing gaze bore into mine, as if waiting for my response. I took a deep breath and gathered my thoughts together. If keeping the mate bond a secret was what he wanted, then I would agree to it. After all, I had once been rejected. I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded. “ Okay, Your Majesty. ”

She helplessly watched him as he boasted of their future daughter. He didn’t shy away from telling everyone that they’ll be welcoming their first Alpha Queen. “If so, what would her partner be called?” It was a legitimate question as Luna King didn’t make sense and it sounded absurd. Who would want such a title? Alex turned to his mate to ask. “There are two options. Alpha Consort or Alpha King. The second one is a bit concerning, though, as it might overshadow the Alpha Queen’s authority.” “We’ll go with Alpha Consort, then.” He easily decided and made up his mind.

King Fenris has slapped me across the face. He grabs my hair and yanks my head up, forcing me to look him in the eyes. ‘You think you can turn my people against me?’ He snarls. ‘Your little stunt earlier cost a lot of villagers to be killed while others were whipped back into their places.’ I weep, knowing villagers were killed or whipped for attempting to defend me. ‘When did you accept to be Alpha King Damon’s mate and Luna?’ He asks. I look away. I refuse to answer him.

He extended his hand toward her, not as a command this time, but as something closer to an offering. “Come with me…” Katina stared at his outstretched hand, then lifted her eyes to the crimson gaze that had somehow gone from terrifying to something unreadable and strange. For the first time in longer than she could remember, she felt something other than dread rising in her chest. Behind her, she heard her mother’s sharp intake of breath. It wasn’t a sound of relief. It was fear. Because Lady Ashbourne finally understood exactly what it meant for the Alpha King of the North to recognize a scent no one had smelled in sixty years.

I wide-eyed, wondering what was happening to him, and pang of uneasiness slipped into me. " You just kicked his balls, sweetie!" Layla sneered. " Ouch! I could feel his pain" Ava chuckled. I clutched my fingers firmly to the wall as I watched Alpha Alexie grunt in pain on the floor. I never knew I had kicked him in his balls. " Aurora, I reject you as my mate!!" Alpha Alexie pronounced, my heart aching as he pronounced and I found myself weak-kneed. " Accept his rejection, Aurora" my wolf, Sia sobbed.

"Because you are an omega! a rogue! You are weak and pathetic, probably a whore too cause I know not where the hell you got that child from." "I am not a whore." My voice broke as I began to cry from his mean words. "What is your name?" He asked. "Nyx." "Nyx what?" "Nyx Evander." "Good." He hummed, "I am going to reject you." He said and I felt a stabbing pain in my chest. I wanted to beg him not to, to tell him that I will do anything for him not to reject me. "And you are going to accept my rejection and forget about me, we can never be together! I am an Alpha King, I do not need a mate like you."

“You will have a kingdom worth inheriting. And a father who never lets go.” He sat back, the faintest trace of a smile touching his lips. Outside, the dawn crept slowly across the horizon, the storm’s edge retreating into light. Inside, the Alpha King of Obsidian Ridge watched his sleeping mate and vowed silently that no power—witch, wolf, prophecy, or fate—would ever take her or their children from him.
