The Alpha's Contract Luna Novels & Stories

"Listen, Luna, it's... it's... Please, just calm down, okay? I'm sorry for not telling you." Luna shook her head, "No Alex, we made a deal that once you get the shares, our contract will be over, and I think right now it's best if we bring everything to an end to avoid parting on bad terms." "Parting on bad terms?" Alex asked. "Luna, are you going to go back on your word to care for me until I'm okay?" "But you went back on your word, Alex. You failed to abide by the contract," Luna replied.

I need to focus. An hour later and Nate is now with me. I’ve found our marriage contract between the two packs. The alpha will claim that as the previous alpha and luna are dead, the contract is void but I want to use it as a ploy to coax him out of hiding. Would he risk a war for her?

But it’s far more than I can handle. “Could I have the entry-level position instead?” I counter. I just need a job, not a ticket into political intrigue. It sounds like this pack leading business is a mess, and I don’t want any part of it. “It’s the Luna position or nothing, I’m afraid.” He reaches into his desk and pulls out a contract, “We don’t hire humans for entry-level positions. Too dangerous. They tend to get hurt. But if you sign this Luna Contract, you will have all the protection of the pack, and of me, as your Alpha. You will help me in a tricky time, and in turn, I can help you during yours. “

Not wanting to wake her up I untangled our bodies and got up to the bathroom quietly, I did my business and it time to see what the doctor has been working on, before I go back to the pack house to get some food for Keisha because I know if she wakes she will be very hungry and she must be very tired because of yesterday. “Alpha, I see that you are awake already,” the pack doctor said. Yes, I am Doc. I came to check on what you have been working on and to see if any test result has come out yet. “There’s nothing to be worried about Alpha, later today the test result will be out, but before that I will check up on Luna to see if she’s stable and free to go home.” Alright that wouldn’t be a pr

I know I have heard a lot about blood contracts and how it works. And to think that it's binding because it had already been signed by both parties. My eyes scanned the words again, trying to make sense of what I had read, the documents are much and I couldn't go through all of them, but all I know is that [If Alpha Killian fails to claim a Luna... his title may be challenged. By bloodline or Council vote.]

"Her hunt was perfect. You have incredible taste, Alpha-Luna... and she has very powerful friends." He didn't betray our secret, but he knew. Everyone would know soon enough. Back at the Pacific Crown venue, Sloane was still boasting to her recruits, unaware of the cliff she was standing on. "Enjoy her little moment," Sloane sneered. "She’s a wolf with a few nights of moon left. She’ll never walk the halls of Nova Star Agency. I’ve made sure of it." She had no idea the Alpha-Luna had already signed my blood-pact, and that the Shadow Alpha was currently holding me in his arms. Her arrogance was the only thing blinder than her eyes.

“His mate cannot bear children. He needs an heir. He is requesting a one-year contract.” Luna Catherine stepped forward. “The contract is binding. The volunteer will move to Silver Creek, conceive, and carry the Alpha’s child. After birth, the child stays. The female returns home.” Shock rippled through the room. “In exchange,” Alpha Marcus said, “the volunteer receives full medical care, protection, and financial compensation.” “How much?” a girl asked. “Five hundred thousand tokens. Paid in installments,” Luna Catherine said. The room erupted. Five hundred thousand tokens was enough to buy a small estate and live comfortably for life.

"Let's get this over with." Reluctantly, I took the pen from his outstretched hand, my fingers trembling, and with a deep breath, I brought the pen to the dotted line and signed my name, sealing my fate as Alpha Max's temporary Luna. As I handed the contract back to him, a shiver ran down my spine as I knew there was no turning back. I was committed to this arrangement, whether I liked it or not. Alpha Max kept the contract, then smiled at me while stretching his hands for a handshake. "Welcome to the pack, Luna Bella."

But neither did I. “This alliance is great for both of us, Alpha Brian,” he said, setting the contract down. His voice was firm, steady. “You know how it will work. You need warriors, and I have them. In return, my daughter will take her place as Luna. It is a simple agreement.” Simple. If only it were. If only he knew I already had a Luna. The thought of Lyric—her voice, her beauty that could melt my soul, her astonishing heart—made something tighten in my chest. I did not take my marriage to Lyric as a joke, so I couldn't betray her. However, this was very necessary.
