I looked at the corpses littering the floor—Dad, Mom, my sisters, my cousins. Everyone was dead. I was the only one left. 90 points. A rusty dagger. And a [Hourglass of Time Reversal] that I wasn't even sure would work. The chat fell silent. Those high-and-mighty "gods" were no longer laughing; they were shocked. *"This Alpha's obsession is too deep. Who exactly is he looking for?"* *"It's over. This instance is collapsing. No one can clear this."* I wiped the blood off my face, my eyes turning as cold as ice.

‘Because if he mentions that you were in the Alpha’s office, he exposes himself too,’ my subconscious said. “A trial is a total waste of time. I could have been killed. She should be put to death immediately” Dionyus shouted. His evil eyes glared at me. I wanted to run away and hide from his gaze but if I took even a single step, the situation may change drastically. “Are you telling me how to run my pack?” Alpha Rome asked, pushing his dominance through that question. I struggled to stay upright because I was in very close proximity when he pushed out his powerful aura.

The first was a female and she barely knew her that much since she's married to her mate. The second oldest was Cyrus, who stays in the alpha's household ever since he got his mate. Yeah, he is soon to be the next beta of their pack though. And the least oldest. Alexander. He has nothing to write home about, that is in Petal's point of view. Just like their father, he bully and picked on her, making everything more difficult for her. He cares less about her existence and make her do his work, watching his friends pick on her and turn her into a laughing stock, forgetting the fact that they are siblings.

With them gone, I scrunched my hand into a fist and dealt him blow after blow, until his face was completely unrecognisable. Standing up, I dealt one final blow as I stomped on his head. When I was done, I pulled the door open and called for a guard. "Get rid of him," I instructed. "Any idea where Alpha?" he asked, his eyes bulging as he took in the state of his former pack member. "I don’t care where you dump him, but I want him out of Spring Lake," I stated firmly. "Yes, Alpha," he said, his eyes refusing to meet mine.

The rogue’s eyes widened, fear and panic clearly written on his face as he tried to free himself from the alpha’s clutch. “You’re...you’re him!” he shouted, his eyes bulging out. Dorian let a smirk grace his lips. “Damn right I am.” He lets his canines show before snapping the rogue’s neck, the latter’s scream forever trapped in his throat. He takes his hand off, the rogue’s body slumping on the ground. He dials Kyle’s number. “Clean up needed. Send someone to dispose off the body.” “Yes, Alpha,” came the beta’s grim acknowledgement. He casually walked away, being used to years of merciless treatment and cruelty, death did not faze him and neither did blood.

So, instead, I pace the floor of Deimos’s bedroom and try to formulate a plan. I will have to play my part carefully. Deimos has the most ruthless reputation of all the Alphas in power. Rumor has it that he murdered his brother for the title of Alpha, and when his army uprose against him, he wiped them out single-handedly. His pack or allies don’t trust him due to his erratic temper. There is no telling who he will kill next and why.

You'd be surprised how often people say unpleasant things about a friend when they think that friend can't hear—it's quite disgusting. The chuckle emanated from the kitchen area, the very place I had intended to grab a weapon. I can't help but wonder, how do you spell "doomed"? Slowly and nervously, I approach the kitchen, my heart pounding so loudly that I can't even hear my own footsteps. My palms are sweaty, and I wipe them on my pajama shorts. This is the most cliché way to meet one's demise, but of course, the universe has chosen this exact scenario for me today, the one day in the week I have off from work and school.

The accusations were false, but the rival's manipulative words fueled the outrage.

An enemy pack outside the walls of my territory. They were vicious beasts that infiltrated the capital and foolishly came for my Pack, hoping to conquer my territory. But at the end of the war, the Hades Pack lost more than they bargained for, including the life of their Alpha. They had a strong grudge against me. They must have found out that Kayla was my wife, and they attacked just to get to her. I growled ragingly. My anger was fueled by my fear. I shook my head, Kayla. Where the hell are you?

An unofficial council of Alphas convened under the moonless sky, their growls echoing in the whispering wind. Among them, Alpha Dolion of the Ironfang pack was the most vocal. His voice dripping with venomous rage as he declared, ‘This cannot stand. A female Alpha? It disrupts the natural order! If we allow this, all our packs will fall into chaos.’ The other Alphas all growled and roared in agreement, their pride and cowardice entwined. They pledged to hunt her down, to end her reign before it could truly begin and before it could challenge their dominion. That plotted her demise, and there was no way she could survive the wrath of a swarm of Alphas.
