Novel & Cerita The Alpha's Hunt

I looked at the corpses littering the floor—Dad, Mom, my sisters, my cousins. Everyone was dead. I was the only one left. 90 points. A rusty dagger. And a [Hourglass of Time Reversal] that I wasn't even sure would work. The chat fell silent. Those high-and-mighty "gods" were no longer laughing; they were shocked. *"This Alpha's obsession is too deep. Who exactly is he looking for?"* *"It's over. This instance is collapsing. No one can clear this."* I wiped the blood off my face, my eyes turning as cold as ice.

Very Alpha. He’s hunting. I didn't need the psychic blast of anger to know that. The mate bond settled into a deep, aggressive pulse of search and rage. It was a continuous, frantic feeling, like a huge, powerful beast was tearing through the Nightmoor Pack grounds, looking for the tiny, clever mouse that had dared to bite it. I allowed a brief, bitter smile to touch my lips. "Well, Alpha," I whispered to the fire, "you can hunt all you like. But your prey is currently sitting in a cave full of wolves who hate you more than I do."

We had found him, and now, together, we would bring an end to this harrowing chapter. As we gathered around our Alpha, the journey that had tested our every limit faded into the background. The desperate hunt had led us to this moment of reunion and renewed purpose. The trials we faced had forged us into a pack bound by unbreakable bonds, ready to face whatever lay ahead. With Alpha Damien's guidance, we prepared to confront our ultimate adversary, knowing that victory was within our grasp. The desperate hunt had brought us to the precipice of destiny, and with unwavering determination, we would claim it.

Three wolves in human form, moving with military precision, checking the path they'd been following. "Alpha wants them found before dawn," one of them said. "He's offering a reward. Ten thousand to whoever brings them back." "Dead or alive?" another asked. "Alive. He was very specific about that. The girl unhurt. The male, well, Alpha didn't seem too concerned about his condition as long as he's breathing." They laughed. The sound was cruel, anticipatory. Like they were already imagining what they'd do to Carlos when they caught him. Amelia felt Carlos tense beside her, felt the low growl building in his chest. She pressed her hand over his mouth, shook her head. Not worth it. Not when they

Suzan said carefully, "I am single now, have you forgotten?" Alpha discovered that she who used only to talk obediently and softly was gone. Her tone now was either cold or impatient. He felt very uncomfortable. Suddenly he missed her so much. "He is an Alpha of the Red Blood Pack. He is the heir to the Red Pack and Julia's uncle. Did you follow him to take revenge on me?" Alpha was frightened by his conjecture. But the possibility exists. Some she-wolves go to any lengths to get revenge.

I didn’t even need to get close before I heard fragments: “…an Alpha is here…” “…looking for his son…” “…heard his men died…” “…they say he has search parties outside the school…” “…nobody knows who the son is…” “…he looked angry… really angry…” I kept my head down, hands in my pockets, pretending I didn’t hear anything. But every word dug deeper into my ribs. Alpha Cyrus was here. Alive. Searching. Hunting. And his shadow was now crawling through every hallway of Lunaris Academy.

MOUNTAIN TOP Gasping for air, Alpha William pushed himself up from the floor, his eyes locking onto the remaining hunter's anger evident in his eyes. "Your trespass into our territory was no accident," he thundered, his voice reverberating with a potent blend of fury and commanding authority. "You have a choice now: cooperate and provide us with the information we demand, or suffer the same fate as your fallen leader." The hunters exchanged uneasy glances, their bravado visibly shaken in the face of Alpha William's fierce resolve. The tension in the air was wild as they weighed their options, their minds racing to find a way out of the dire situation they had gotten themselves into.

When we arrived he brought five feral looking specimens to the front of the pack and had them on their knees in front of the entire gathering. All five claimed to be the next rightful Alpha, they pledged their allegiance to their dead Alpha and swore they would get justice for his unlawful execution. Hunter took on all five at once and the fear in their eyes when he unleashed his Alpha power on them was everything it needed to be to show the pack that things around here are about to change. He didn’t let them go or offer them the chance to see the error of their ways. Liberty whispered something in his ear and stepped back, into the waiting arms of her mates. Whatever she said ended Hunter’s

I’m sure she said something about leaving, before she threw herself at me and earned herself some stern words from a certain overprotective Alpha. “So, we all know about Alpha Kendrick, his imprisonment of our Luna, his later abduction of her and his attempt on the life of our Alphas. Some information has come to light, and I believe I know what fuels his agenda.” Hunter steps around the low table, putting both distance and furniture between himself and his Alphas. I try with all my might to keep my nerves from seeping into the mate bond, but I know I have failed when their bodies stiffen and Christian’s hand grips my thigh tighter.

"This year, we will be hosting the Alpha's Hunt. I encourage all of you to arrive at our northern Manor House for the ceremony." Another round of applause, but this time heavy with tension. "As for the rest of the night, please enjoy!" he ended. "The Alpha's what?" I ask Mom. "The Alpha's Hunt dear," mom answered looking a bit pale. "In which all the Lycan Alphas participate to chose the Alpha Supreme of the continent." "Hmm..." I turn my gaze to the stage again. "So, they're all going to the northern manor." "Yes dear," Mom nods. "The Alpha's family. Beta Drew and Beta female, Carmilla will stay here to manage the pack affairs.
