I rose from the ground and walked towards the bed, and only then did he walk away. Once on the bed, I folded myself and buried my face in my knees while my tears continued to flow endlessly. After an hour of crying and cursing my miserable life, a knock came to the door and a maid walked in to inform me that dinner was ready. She introduced herself as Anna, and informed me that Alpha Klaus had appointed her to be my personal help. She spoke with a soft tone, and was a lot friendlier than all the people I've met so far.

I reach a hand out and pat his shoulder. “I will stay and help as long as you need me to, Alpha.” I tell him honestly. He gives me a grateful look, gesturing for us to do as he said.
